Tris and Raoni are close together in the lead.
They want to lap Fulvio before the hairpin.
Blue flags are shown.
Tris passes and Raoni wants to follow close.
Fulvio is aware of Raoni but takes the inside line.
Raoni has no chance to avoid a crash.

Fulvio could have taken the outside of the hairpin without any loss of position.

good night drivers:
the reason for this writing is to ask, a big apology to several drivers that due to my poor driving, I could spoil their competition, axel cookie, for the great blow I gave him on lap 1, I left him out of service, and I did being late enough, a thousand apologies axel, is not my usual way of driving.
Billy Tintop, for the little kiss I gave him on his exhaust pipes which made him crash against the wall, also a big apology.
If I am among those who have to be penalized, I will gladly accept any penalty, my driving was the most dreadful thing I could have had in a long time, almost all the laps, error after error, anyway, I already passed and I hope in the next race , to be able to do a more acceptable performance.
I also apologize to the brokers in general that I could harm.
   Thank you

During the race, I rearended an Alfa33. I think it was Ziu's car.
I am very sorry for that.
Hopefully, it seems there was no real damage for his car.

My Alfa 33 was very slow but has incredible brakes (54% on my setup).
I would be very interested by Phil's setup : usually we are very close in all series but for this race Phil was very very faster than me !

I used the default setup with 11 gallons of fuel. I normally have to change the steering ratio but in this case I didn't, it is set to 10:1.

What I have changed recently, is that I have modified my brake pedal to use a Load Cell. It has taken 2 or 3 races to get used to it but I'm now braking better which I think made a difference  on Sunday. The Load Cell I bought is here.

The Load Cell makes it easier to brake consistently but it is harder to press and it is more tiring. I think the Load Cell will help on heavy braking circuits like Norisring.

Argh,
now I understand why I couldn't get you under braking...

You only have yourself to blame Axel, you encouraged me to get a Load Cell  Grin

Good morning all,

Grats Tristan for this great victory.
Impossible to follow his too fast rhythm. Tongue
My race was not less lively because behind Raoni will show me all the colors, what pressure.  Tongue Tongue
I will make several mistakes and it will pass
before being bothered later which will allow me to resume my place.
Further, while I am regularly in difficulty braking the V1, it will push me slightly but will immediately let me pass, thank you for this exemplary FAIRPLAY Raoni, the mark of great champions.  I Am Not Worthy
Tense end of race but I manage to stay 2nd in the end.  sweatdrop

Bravo to all and thank you to the Administrators  Smiley

I have a simple idea to guarantee the organizers that the minimum fuel oil at the start of the race or at the end is checked.

Each driver must make a screen print at the start when he is on the grid.
At the end of the race, copy / paste with software (Windows Paint for example) save the file and send it to the moderator.

Really enjoyed this Race.

turned up for qually with minutes to spare. I have not really done more than a few minutes driving with the 67SC cars.

I cant remember ever racing or practicing at Norisring before either !!!

but as time was running short I took the Alfa, with the default setup. I adjusted the steering ratio to 9:1 and slopped in enough gas to do the required laps and pitched up at the back of the starting grid as normal .

what followed was a great 50 mins or so of GPL. the setup was OK other than it was about half a dozen laps into the race before i realise that the Alfa had six gears !!!
it wouldnt quite pull the redline in fifth at the end of the straight or hardly pull your socks off, from the exit of the hairpin or slow corners but it was Fun... with a capital F.

All in all turned into a blast .  The alfa drives real nice and As its an easy track to learn even with the gear ratio issues I started to make decent progress and then just enjoyed getting used to the great handling and very progressive brakes on the Alfa, and when I wasnt moving out of the way of the fast guys I was having a ball just throwing and sliding the Alfa around the circuit.

I think Im going to enjoy this race series as much as any we do.

thanks Axel for organising this.. its cool.  the cars are great and not overpowered and some of the tracks listed are particular favourites of mine.

congrats as always to podiums and to all the other racing gentlemen of our beloved GPL.. Smiley

Paul.
