Championship Standings

Example Setups:

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

That was another disaster, just 4 secs a lap slower than others in the same car  Roll Eyes

Think I might be washing my hair in 3 weeks time!

Not quite the race I was expecting, with just a few tenths between us in qually, I was predicting a close race between Markus & me with Frex probably quite close too. Made a good start for a change & built a handy lead on lap 1, but rather than a close race I started to ease away from Frex & Markus. After Frex made a mistake & dropped to 3rd I just had to keep it on track until the end. Only had one moment about lap 8 when I got rather more oversteer than was comfortable & was lucky to save it.

Congrats to Markus & Frex.  clap clap

Sorry you are having problems Pete, I can let you have my setup if you want.

Not sure if it's just setup or I can't drive these cars for toffee. Would love to try your setup Geoff to see where I get to. Thank you  Grin

That was a tough track to get right with several tricky corner combinations, and I never did manage it with any kind of consistency. Overcooked T1 a couple of times resulting in two identical spins (one on the last lap) and failed to get any kind of rhythm going. Still, any chance to drive the 635 is welcome. Congrats Geoff and Markus.

I had massive Problems with this track too. I lost the rear of the car so often that I changed the setup to a very soft rear. The car was so understeering, that I was very slow. For the qualifying I stiffened the rear and was faster, but with that setup I would not have finished the race.
Geoff is a brilliant starter, I had no chance to get him. With the cold tyres I was struggeling a lot in the forst corners. I was fighting with Matt and I tried to overtake him in turn 8, the right hander before the two lefthanders. I was on the outside line and I thought he would have enough space on the inside. But unfortunately we had contact that resulted in a spin of Matt`s Porsche. I didn`t notice this during the race, but when I watched the replay yesterday I saw this. I am really sorry about that.
I kew, that Geoff was way faster than I was, and Frex was out of reach too. But then Frex had a spin in T1 and I could pass him. I had to push hard till the end and finally made a lucky P2.

Grats to Geoff and Dieter, sorry again Matt

Agree with Frex & Markus that this is a quite tough track & has not been one of my favourites. However I did many laps here during RaceRoom's Porsche Cup event earlier in the year & got to quite like it, except for that horrible first couple of turns I now find it quite fun to drive.

The ancient Pork worked well here. I had tried the VOlvo, and was relatively easy drive, but felt so ponderous
and I can't drive the little beemer so went for the Porsche, which isn't invulnerable, but is a much easier drive for me
It brakes way better than you think it will, and is a lot faster into and through the turns, which is the only
reason I was hassling Markus in lap 1. After that had the usual fun taking it in turns to fall off with Pete
I had softened the front a bit more than I would normally, but really should not have bothered, as, although
it did turn in better, it was a bit unstable under power.
