Championship Standings

Example Setups:

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Had my G29 for around 18 months now Bill & very pleased with it. Apart from the problem I had getting FFB to work on my new PC, not had any other problems with it. Excellent wheel at the price.

Yeh G29 best for PC but I think G920 works on PC too. As you say, G920 is for XBox & I think G29 is for Playstation.

How time flies when you are retired, it's not 18 months since I bought my G29 but 30 months!  Roll Eyes

After a fresh install and a lot of tweaking I seem to have some sort of useable ffb again in R3E so I'll give this one a shot to see how it goes.

Regarding wheels, my pedals started playing up again yesterday on my ancient DFGT so I had a quick look around at replacing. Seems like the Thrustmaster wheels are now the leaders in the market and most people seem to report better ffb than the Logitec wheels, although they are more expensive and finding one in stock is currently a challenge.

I decided to take my pedals apart (again) and give the pots a good flushing out with Servisol. I stuffed the old squash ball back under the brake pedal, recalibrated and thankfully all seems good again. Nice result as I don't think my budget stretches to anything at the moment  laugh

As mentioned above, the G29 works for PC and PlayStation whereas the G920 works for PC and Xbox.

When I was doing my research earlier in the year, feedback seems better for the G29 over the G920 if you play on PC and don't mind which console it's compatible with. Comments seemed to prefer the extra buttons on the G29 wheel and apparently the brake pedal on the G920 can be a bit stiff.

I ended up getting a Thrustmaster TMX Pro wheel and pedals for around £190 in April but looking now most places seem to be out of stock and charging £230-250.

Thanks Glenn, too late the deed is done! G29 direct from Logitech, 4 to 7 day delivery so I’ll miss this race but hopefully be there for the following race - assuming I find no problems.  Grin

Does anyone now i get heat in the front tires???

Reducing tire pressure doesn't work, because the middle temp gets too low,
also more camber doesn't work because the difference between in en out temp is already 8/9degr?

thx Biri

Don't know about others, but I am not too bothered about temps, just get the middle temp between the outer & inner with between  5-10 degrees difference across the tyre.

I believe though if you stiffen the suspension & rollbars it should generate more heat in the tyres, of course if it makes the handling worse then there is no point in doing that. Try it.

You could try the Mercedes trick of increasing toe in (or out)? no idea if it is simulated here or not.

Monza isn`t hard for the tyres. But try yourself: set tyre consumption to 2x and start a 15 minute race. After that you know how the car feels after the 30 min. race. For me soft is ok, but when accelerating out of Lesmo 2 I need to be careful.
