Season 37 - Funrace Test  - SC67 - Alfa vs Porsche Cup - Goodwood

To test the mod + the import of the Mod with a new wrapper we need this race to have some drivers,

This race is at Goodwood, which is situated near Chichester, West Sussex, close to the south coast of England, on the estate of Goodwood House. We will be using the new GPL version of Goodwood 1965 for this event.

Please check the Season 37 details regarding rules and the Alfa vs Porsche Cup pages in particular.

Race List =  IGOR
Server = UKGPL_8
IP Address = look at iGOR
Race date = 14-07-2020
GPL mod = SC67 Alfa + Porsche only
60fps patch used = 60fpsV2newmod
Track = goodwd65
Qualification = 20:45  UK time -> 45min
Race = race starts at ~21:30 UK time
Race length = ~25 min -> 19 laps
Damage Model = Intermediate
Replay = here

Handicapping
"Works" drivers will carry extra weight in form of 10 gallons of fuel (to remain in the tank after the race).
Drivers are expected to behave in a fair and gentlemanly fashion and declare how much fuel they have left after the race.

In order to ensure there will be 10 gallons of fuel left after the race, the minimum race fuel load for Works is expected to be:
  • Alfa T33 = 17 gallons
  • Porsche = 18 gallons

Two resets will be allowed (there is no need to carry out a Stop and Go in the pit lane if you make a Shift-R).
Drivers are reminded that Lap 1 incidents carry an extra 1 place penalty.
Only reported incidents will be moderated.

David,
Where did you get the freeze?
I had the same in qually at Woodcote corner (the last turn before the chicane). It also happen when I was practicing the other night. Maybe a problem with the track? Hope not as its a lovely track to drive.

I had a freeze at that very spot in qually Bill. Just got dumped back to the desktop  Undecided Undecided
In the few laps before the disco I had a few short black screen moments, maybe a second or two each time.

Good morning all  Smiley

Thank you for the training last night.
No freeze for me but on the other hand I have a big loss of FPS after the LAVANT turn, from 60 I go to 34fps.
On the Igor chat I was advised to deactivate in GEM a chause which would have a link with the INTEL processors.
Where does this option please?
Is there a light version of the circuit?

Thank you

Axel,

In my GEM setup, the 3 "Enable Animations" are selected. What are the consequences if I deselect them ?

"Disable Intel Speedstep" is selected too. What's the consequence if I deselect it ?

These are the setups I use since ...several years !

David with an intel CPU the "disable intel speed step" is essentiell !

The other animation settings have never been implemented in GPL - so they are obsolete  Wink

Me too had fps loss at start and on many points of the track with this mod for the first lap when the cars were close enough even if we weren't a full field. When we raced here with 65 mod for Stirling it wasn't so bad.
