GTR2 Fun Race at Donington GP 2004

Date: Monday 25th September

Practice 1: 8:15pm (30 mins)
Qual 2: 8:45pm (15 mins)
Warmup: 9:00pm (2 mins)
Race: 9:02pm (20 mins)

Cars allowed: Any 2003 or 2004 NGT car
Weather: Dry
Track: Donington GP 2004

Server: Simracing.org.uk
Password: usual practice password

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules - especially the new speed limiter starting procedure.
(3) If the turnout is very low we may have a standing start. Watch for ADMIN messages during the warmup session.

The correct procedure is brake-swear, not swear-brake.

Yeah, I know - Just a bit of a bummer as I've got this nice shiny new toy and I can't play with it.

Yes, I'm aware there is such a thing as racing offline (and I'm not just talking about cocking up the corners Tongue) - and it's pretty good in GTR2.  It'll keep me going until GTR2 takes main stage on a Tuesday.

Hi Luke,

Welcome aboard!

On the day of the race, if you go to the multiplayer lobby in GTR2 just after the start time (8:15 in this case), you'll see the UKGTR server up, it's passworded and the password is at the top of this thread. That's all you need to do.

All the fun races are open to all members.

Cheers, Pops

We have some drivers from Portugal, so Spain shouldn't be a problem. Yes, we plan to run some GTR2 leagues fairly soon, after some test races.

1 turns on the virtual mirror. If you're using the cockpit view there is a graphics option somewhere to turn on the driver and wing mirrors.
