I did see a big warp/lag event during praccy or qual but that might have been on my end.

So do the server replays have wheels on the cars, or have they not fixed that one either?

I'm happy to report the cars have wheels.

Looks like Luke had bad warp at the start, which explains why he was passing cars on the formation lap. On the replay he spins after being hit by an invisible car.

I just watched the replay, and one nice feature is the pitlimiter light that blinks when it's turned on. That makes it easier to see if someone has it engaged, but also for the mods.

I use GTR1 setups, and the worked great, hence the 1:29 I did.
And what Aagram said, Zhuhai and GT's. by that time I should have GTR2 as well (online).

Edit: The GTR Reporter for the lapcharts, does not work with GTR2.

I noticed that as we exited the pits during qualifying. Very neat. Cool I've now worked out why the pit limiter is automatic on entry to and exit from the pit lane but not out of the garage. The only way to exit your garage at Dono with 10 degrees of steering lock is sideways with the rears lit up! laugh angel

Edit: The GTR Reporter for the lapcharts, does not work with GTR2.

I bet if you edited the Game and Version strings in the header you could fool it into working... The format appears to be identical bar the lack of a Penalty string.

That was FUN!

I was slightly concerned that I'd not find GTR2 as engaging as I'd like due to overfamiliarity with GTR1 but even on a familiar track with a semi-familiar car that felt really fresh and fun.

One thing for sure is that 'Time Trials' are a different kettle of proverbials than proper qualifying, having the tyres up to temp. in the Time Trials is a big advantage. I was easily into the 1:31's in the Time Trials but couldn't get below 1:32.5 in qualifying last night.

I Qualified in 2nd and I was looking forward to battling Mark in 3rd but I think he got a bit close through the chicane on lap 1 which forced him to take evasive action and I was pretty much on my own for the rest of the race vainly chasing Madd's disappearing 360.

Pretty pleased with 2nd, nice to get a podium before all the aliens turn up Grin

Great drive by Madd for the win Smiley

Thank heaven for that.

Was there anyone in the race with a distant geographical location from the server in the UK, or anyone showing bad ping times?

I'm finding that in the time trials there is alot to keep me pushing. Even with the racing line off and the ghost car invisible for 10 metres around me there is the counter in the top left telling me exactly how far ahead or behind I am. Without that I tend to take a few laps longer to accelerate earlier out of the corners even with the tires up to temp. I find it better practice to run around the open practice rather than the time trial as I won;t have any time trial helpers pushing me to go faster in qualifying or a race, but it would be nice to be able to convert my fastest hot-laps to time trial ghosts for when i give it a go.

Pings were generally excellent last night... I didn't notice what Luke's ping was but there was quite a bit of horrific warping going on there  Undecided
