(3) See the Series Info for general Elise Cup info.
(4) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules; note that we have no specific standing start rules, but first lap incidents will be punished more harshly than subsequent incidents

Haven't decided yet whether I'm going to run in this tonight, ran a few laps last night, and found it hard going.  Even after tinkering with the setup I was still getting quite a lot of understeer, and had more than a few problems with the infamous "Corkscrew".

I'll see how I'm feeling this evening, and given that my new graphics card should have been delivered and installed by then .... I might be persuaded to see how the card fares.

I didn't have time to practice and since my last experience with Laguna Seca was in Gran Turismo I believe my driving would be an insult to you guys. Having said that - I probably will not attend the race unless I somehow manage to squeeze an hour practice between showering my infant daughter and planned race start Smiley

I hope to join, but again i have not had time to practice this track at all, have to get kids to bed etc...which will probably see me finishing in the last 5 (if at all) lol!

The last time i drove Laguna Seca, was also on Gran Turismo (hhokkkkkkk-tttthhppp), in a Zexel Skyline i think, many moons ago... Roll Eyes

I'm only sorry I wasted too much time today to make a bareable setup for this $tupid car.  Angry
Grats to the winner and I'm glad this cup with this crappy car is over.  death
Why, oh why do I feel obligated to drive in every GTR event here?  Huh

I did a pb in qually, but I was beaten by BigG and Jon.

BigG didn't have a good start, and I took 2nd. I was following Jon, when he went a bit wide and I was able to squeeze past. He was pushing me for a few laps, untill I went wide in the fast lefthander before the corkscrew, and Jon took 1st back. There was a few seconds gap between us, but I was slowly gaining some time. I don't remember how I overtook him anymore Roll Eyes, but after I was in 1st again, he was gaining fast. Jon was faster overall, so I had to fight to keep him behind.
We were then chasing Pablo. Somebody dropped oil at the hairpin, as Pablo locked up, I locked up and went off and Jon locked up and went off Grin
3 Laps before the end, I was him steaming towards me at the hairpin, so I quickly steered to the right to avoid a late crash. Although I can't tell from my point of view if it really was that dangerous. Jon gave the position back, which was a very fair move, as he was basically giving away the lead for fairplay   thumbup2, respect for that.

Grats to Jon for champ, teamchamp is still a guess.

(shame about the low turn-up at the last GTR race ever here Sad)

HI Guys,

OK first thing, SORRY, SORRY SOrry to Jamera when I was lapping you, Lost cencentration and I did not move over far enough.

OK 2nd in Qually, and a PB to go with it, so was very 'appy

Then I did not put the BLOODY car in gear for the start so that was it really, 3rd down to the 1st corner. Stayed with Ruskus and Jon for a couple of laps then locked up into the last corner and this gravel is worse than at the real (GTR) circuits. I could not steering or do anything. Eventually rejoined in 11th and kept it on the black stuff for most of the race. So got back to 3rd some 1.22 secs behind 1st and 2nd.

Only one positive, MJ stayed away, so I hope I have got 3rd in this Mini Champ.

BYE BYE GTR, I love you  Kiss so much my heart is aching already. PMSL
