I think, I'll take the Bellet too. Not the easiest car to drive here, but I simply love this version of the Bellet.

You can bet your last dollar that if I try a "comfort break" during a pitstop, the bathroom will be occupied!!!!   Undecided

Much like Clive, I've been given a pass to try to last the distance on this.....Not sure what car to take yet though, seems sensible to take the thing that combines being very easy to get around the lap with as much speed as possible, so the tiddlers will not be an option....

Just managed a few practice laps in the Alfa GTAm, found it quite a comfortable drive around the Nordschleife, so that is what will be going with. Just to give you guys something to aim at, my best lap was 8.57.4.

Excellent guys. Smiley Markus also stated during summer break that He will miss the Zolder but he is coming to Nurburgring, so I made a list confirmed drivers, but do not know yet which car they are about to use.

I also try to bring the server up very early, so that people can check that they can join and their install is ok.

8:57.4!!! "something to aim at" the man says!!! Well, if I had a long range sniper's rifle I might, but you would have to promise to stand still whilst I took my shot  Undecided

...And I'll quote myself from last year preparation for the race:

Just to give you guys something to aim at, before I became otherwise engaged tonight I got a lap of 9m06.9s in the 1300 Escort.
This proves the special nature of this track; my best in Bellett was 9m13.5s.

Plus, it's one thing to do fast lap here and then repeat that 22 times. Smiley

And please note my fastest (and also the fastest lap of the race) lap in race: 9:07.782. That was made in lap 21. Wink

I presume you mean the GTAm, Not the GTA Jnr? Smiley

Will cuts be turned off for this Lasse? It is quite easy to go slightly off track & get a cut warning, whereas you can go quite majorly off track & not get one. Seems wrong to be penalised for small errors but not for major ones.

Zero chance of me jumping in I'm afraid. Completely, utterly, totally knackered from the insane 14-day heatwave and starting a job (well, if you can call it that when the pay is the same in any currency, viz. nil, naught, nada) this Monday while currently carrying an 80 hour sleep deficit.  wacko  death

Might return in a month or so when/if I get into the groove of things and the weather finally remembers that Belgium is on the 50th degree latitude and not on the equator.

Meanwhile, have fun y'all.

Yes, Flag rules will be set to none for this one. Smiley

After testing some cars, i decided to drive with the Alfa GTAm as well. The car is stable i think, but it will be a miracle to survive three hours here as i know my aggressive style...
