Qualifying: 20:20 GMT (10 mins)
Race: 20:30 GMT (18 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

Make sure you know which route to take. Variations are not coned off so a wrong turn is possible.

Visually this track was what i love - some great hills, trees and grass. But it was so much fun to drive there as well with the great Renault 5 Turbo.

Unfortunately my setup didn't worked as planned in Race 1, and i had some pace in 1 lap, for the Q, but after 5-6 laps on R the car was literally impossible to drive. So much oversteer and it progress to worsen as the tires quickly were almost at 0 at the finish.

For race 2 i knew i must risk it all and make some changes. Fortunately this changes didn't worsen my pace but now i had more stable car and the tire wear was delightedly better.

After taking the pole position i knew the start will be important. I wanted to stay on top and make some gap for the later stages, because i wasn't sure what will happen when the car is going with less fuel and wear off tires at the final laps.

Fortunately everything went great for me - i was able to keep the lead and was making some gap to Coyote who was driving very consistent. The car was definitely better and this time i made just 1 memorable error, loosing few seconds. BTW it was fun how me and Tony had the same problem with oversteer in the later stages at the long hairpin at the end of sector 2.  Grin

At the end - i am delighted with the win, but i thing Geoffers was faster and if he had the chance to take part in Q2 maybe he was going to be the winner. Daz was very fast as well, but his changes to the setup didn't worked for him this time.

Congratulations to Geoffers for winning R1 and to Daz and Coyote for podiums in R1. Congrats to Coyote and Geoff for podium at R2 as well.

Two hard races as usual in this series, on a very nice, flowing track.

Got a great start in race 1, gaining 3 places, and got off lightly in the first lap mayhem at the hairpin, with only a light tap.  In position 2, but of course couldn't keep up with Daz in the lead.  Once Geoffers caught up, he wasn't hangning about; quickly made his way past and disappeared.  Most of the race was a hard fight with Dimitar.  Put on pause when I lost the rear, spinning off.  Later we swapped places again, when he made a copy of my mistake.  Grats to Geoffers & Daz for 1st & 2nd respectively.  Amuzing video Dimitar, when things go wrong..  Grin

Another good start in race 2, but 'only' gained one place this time.  Now it was Dimitar I couldn't keep up with.  Had Ziu for close company in the first part of the race, but he gradually slipped back and eventually left. Towards the end, Geoffers was catching up quickly, so relieved the race ended when it did.  Grats to Dimitar on the win & Geoff in 3rd.

Couple of tough but fun races, difficult to get a good setup for these cars here.

Initially I was well off the pace of Daz & DD in practice but a change to the gearing & upping the rev limit (not sure why I only had it on 8950 Huh) got me in the ball park in qually. Got a poor start in race 1 & then got hit from behind at the hairpin pushing me into DD, this dropped me to 6th place. Passed Matt on lap 2 & set off after the leaders, gained two places when DD & Dan went grass-tracking & couple of laps later managed to squeeze past Erling. Daz was by now well up the road so pretty much settled for finishing 2nd until Daz had an off & the gap dropped to a couple of seconds. When Daz made another error exiting the final turn I swept into the lead but the car was now getting tricky & I almost came to grief a couple of times in the remaining laps but was just able to hang on for a lucky win.

Race 2 from the back was equally exciting. Passed a few cars on lap 1 & was quickly up to 4th behind Ziu, just caught up to him when he had a moment & then quit shortly after. Started to catch Erling in 2nd but a couple of mistakes dropped me back behind Daz. Daz didn't seem so fast in this race & I closed the gap quite quickly, particularly on the S/F straight. He then repeated one of the errors I made by overshooting the hairpin & I was back in 3rd place. Closed down Erling over the remaining laps but ran out of laps so finished 3rd.

Congrats & DD on his win & to Daz & Erling on their podiums.  clap clap clap

Guy's sorry for the mayhem in R1 at the first hairpin. I completely missed my braking point as I was rubbing paintwork with a car on my left. When I saw Zui braking I left it too late to react and clouted him a biggun up the chuff. DD says in his race commentary that I hit
him but I don't think this is so.

Not my track/car combo. Tyres were melted after 8 laps. Not too disappointed about my quali time
but not able to reach a time under 1:27. I was totally focussed on that target during Race 1 that I
didn't realize tyre wear.
For Race 2 I decided to reduce speed in order to save tyres but that didn't work neither.
CU next week.

To eat humble pie, in common usage, is to face humiliation and subsequently apologize for a serious mistake.

I think it was a chain reaction. I didn't know what started it but I guess Tony hit Ziu, he hit me & I hit DD.  Roll Eyes
