Championship Standings

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Managed one complete lap in practice, non in qual, lasted a few corners before stuffing it into a wall.
Something about these and/or my Thrustmaster wheel that just don't get on. Tried all sorts of different
steering setups, not (quite) this bad with my old G27. ah well no more of these thankfully.

Had busy week, short of practice, then with the update little practice before qualifying. I just couldn’t sort out those V corners so I quit!

Really struggled with the car here, not quite as much as Matt or Bill, but could only string 3-4 laps together before a spin. I started this series well at Brands but I think I have gradually evolved the setup in the wrong direction & made the car harder to drive, perhaps I should have gone back to my original setup.

Congrats to Frex & Markus on their wins & to Markus on winning the championship.  clap clap clap

Once I got on track last night I remembered the nightmare I had here when we ran these before. That left hander before the very tight right/left at the end of the back straight is just impossible. I always feel there is time to be gained there but anything I did resulted in a spectacular crash. Sadly I upset Frex's 2nd race as he had to take avoiding action for my incompetence here. Sorry!

Not sure this track layout would be fun in any car.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to race and to Matt for organising again. Well done to Markus and Geoff in the championship. Lucky for me Frex lost his way mid season as he was usually so much quicker than me I feel lucky to have got 3rd.

During practice I was struggling too. I softened the rear to avoid spinning, in the end I was able to stay on the track. The races went better than expected, too bad, Geoff had problems in race 2 it could have been interesting. If the second race had lasted 2 laps longer, Frex would have caught me. He was extremely quick on this track (as always). So in the end I was very lucky with P2 and P1. And even more lucky with the championship win. I agree with you, these cars aren`t my favourites.
Grats to Geoff, Frex and Pete, thank you Matt for organizing this stuff.
Cu next Thursday.

Didn't feel too confident in the car in the first race, so dropped the tyre pressures a bit for the second. This meant it took a bit longer for the tyres to come up to temperature, but the balance was much better thereafter and I felt I could really push it in the second half. I was reducing the gap to Markus quite well, but then made a mistake as we came into the stadium section on the final lap, and threw away all the time that I had gained. Really enjoyed these races though, congrats to Markus, and to Pete in P3.

Sadly I upset Frex's 2nd race as he had to take avoiding action for my incompetence here. Sorry!

That was my own mistake Pete, nothing you did wrong there - I was a little late with my dab on the brake before the left-hander, which was enough to throw me into a spin.. These cars always feel like they're on a bit of a knife-edge, but that's what I like about them!

Congrats Markus with the win and the championship!!!

For my own race, felt more i was driving the medical car  Grin, picking up crashed drivers  Grin. Didn't make huge mistakes, and after 1 lap already lost connection with the group.

Second race was much better almost +/- 1sec/lap faster.

Don't know why but also loving these cars, but difficult to drive.

First almost full championship that i finish, 2/months starting my first league race in Raceroom at Monza Junior (extremely nervous then  laugh).
So this was my car in the world of SimRacing, i think in this car you definitely learn to drive. And all cars there after are more easier to drive.

See ya
