Championship Standings

Example Setups:

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Final round of this series. I love these things, please come along for the big final  thumbup1

Markus is looking strong for the Championship win, but Frex could snatch it if Markus falters.

Guy's, due to an admin oversight, we have a larger than usual quarterly cost to cover this month.

We know that these are difficult times and we truly appreciate whatever you can afford to donate to help keep us up and running.

Thanks in advance  I Am Not Worthy

Sorry will not be able to drive in this race as I’ve been busy preparing for our holiday next week. Covid 19 restrictions required extra information which meant discussion on how it affected us. I did have a quick drive with default setup but I have not raced here before so have run out of time to prepare.

I'll be on for tonight's race. I've enjoyed the series but made plenty of mistakes so will be looking avoid rear bumpers, grass and gravel traps tonight.

Also, thanks for the heads up Tony. Just paid up but had to use Paypal, last couple of months my credit card company seem to like taking payment twice leaving my account looking a little bare for a week or two.

My credit card seems to make up how much I owe them. I hardly use it, but it comes up with figures
that I have to research.  surrender

Server seems to be stable now, so not expecting any issues.

Have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the race last night.

I lost out early on when Frex tried to pass Alix at the last chicane when I was tucked up the inside allowing Markus and Toni around the outside. After that I took too much out of the tyres trying to go after Geoff and Frex so spent the second half of the race looking after tyres, I started dropping a tenth or two per lap. I only started to catch again on the last two laps so well judged and congratulations Frex and Geoff!

Unlucky Alix, after getting back to the front you were in a class of one. It was slightly reminiscent of Frex running out of fuel on the last lap at RedBull Ring.

Well done Markus on another championship  I Am Not Worthy

That wasn't an attempt to pass, I just missed my braking point and rammed into Geoff (sorry). Lost a lot of momentum there, but I see you lost out worse, sorry about that.

Rest of the race was spent chasing back to Geoff and looking for a way past. Which wasn't looking likely until Geoff made a mistake at the last corner and I just managed to get by. Couldn't make any inroads into the gap to Alix though until a few laps before the end when he was clearly trying to save fuel. Unlucky.

Congrats Markus for the Championship!

Ah no worries anyway, I prefer close racing anyway and these things happen. You win some and lose some - I could easily have chosen the other side and my luck would have been in. It also gave me a good battle with Markus and Toni  thumbup1

I really enjoyed the race and didn't have any kamikaze moments as I have in most races this series.

Thank you all, to be honest Frex would have deserved the win. There were two races where he was in a comfortable lead (Red Bull Ring and Zandvoort) and slowed before the finish line to let us pass. If he hadn`t done that he would have easily won the championship. I was never near his pace. But thank you anyway for a nice season. Grats to Frex for the second place and Geoff for the 3rd. int eh championship and of course Frex Geoff and Glenn for the race!

That was probably the most eventful race from P6 to P6 I've done so far.

There was some early door banging with Glenn, followed by getting past Markus as he went wide in turn 1. This lead to a prolonged three-way battle between him, myself, and Pete. Braking into Club, Markus hit my rear and spun out, leaving me to battle with Pete. We swapped positions a couple times, until I missed my braking spot into Brooklands and went wide. Markus had caught up and was pressuring me, but spun again. I tried to pressure Pete but having had to push through the entire race my tyres were gone and I couldn't get into a position to try the pass. Finally I spun it on the last lap while riding the inside kerb at Chapel, and Markus grabbed P5 from me.

Onwards to more modern machines next.

I messed up somewhat, had done no practice, or setups and it showed, I took the default softs and front left was
overheating big time, and had massive understeer. Perhaps meds might have been better.
