Just tried no flag rules on the dedi server with the following results:

1. You can jump the start. My first lap in the 914, sitting in the next seat over from the wheel and right foot braking, was a 1:30. Cheesy Not really a problem with a rolling start though.
2. You can indeed cut all the corners you want. Not only that, but it correctly logs all laps. Woo!
3. You can speed in the pit lane. Not so good - although UKGTL doesn't normally use pit stops unless you've broken the car.

On balance I think we could sanction running with no flag rules in UKGTL. UKGTR Endurance will be a different conversation...

Cool, thanks. Was just firing up my GTL Server now when I read your post so saves me the work.
We need to talk about how to police corner cutting though as this could very easily be abused. When you are on your own in a race there is nothing stopping you cutting a corner massively doing this and no one else would notice cause they hadn't seen you and therefore would go unreported. I do think it's very dangerous so we need to be careful but going ahead and changing this just cause Blimey! couldn't be arsed to write the corner cutting code very well.

Maybe just use the rule at tracks where corner cut warnings are a real pain in the arse, like Zolder  Huh

Thanks for testing guys.  Cool

Most circuits have a chicane, so most will suffer from the possibility of major corner cutting.
