All members welcome.

Practice: 20:15 (15 mins)
Qualifying: 20:30 (20 mins)
Race: 20:50 (22 laps = ~40 mins)
Track: Zolder
Cars allowed: BMW CSL Alpina (rating 15.0), Ford Escort RS (rating 15.0), Porsche 914-6 (rating 14.0), Ford Capri 2600 RS (rating 13.5)
NOTE TO ALL: We are unable to restrict the use of the fast Capri and the faster BMW, so we are relying on everyone to NOT pick those cars. Anyone picking those cars will be asked to leave and rejoin with a different car, otherwise they will be excluded from the result.
Time of Day Setting: 14:00

Server: UKGTL Ladder; in the event that the lobby is unavailable, connect using Direct IP, entering games.avonrise.co.uk in the Add IP box
Password: See this post

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) General information on the ladder can be found on the series home page.
(4) The season will be run using a UKGTL carpack v1.2 which will need to be installed prior to racing.

Just to let you guys know that Tom's operation went with no snags and we expect him home on Sunday.

As he cant drive for a minimum of 6 weeks you can expect him on here daily grumbling about how his newly arrived copy of GTR 2
is gathering dust on the shelf.

Of course after 6 weeks he'll probably revert to his Ross Brawnesque persona and test the arse off the game.

Thanks to all for your kind messages

Mike Cooper

PS. I'll probably get him to beg Madd to paint the cars. Well you cant refuse a sick man can you. I expect him to use the heart op as a means of gaining sympathy. DONT FALL FOR IT

Great news, Mike. If starts grumbing about GTR2 tell him to get on with painting some Team Oldie skins instead of waiting for Madd to do them! Grin

Between the ASRWC and GTR2 I'm treating UKGTL races as very much "arrive and drive". I think that's actually GTL's strongest suit - as long as you know the track layout it's fun even with no practice. Grin Which is how I'll be doing it tonight. Wink

I'm a bit short on practice at this one - certainly in the GTC76'ers.  Haven't decided for sure what I'm going to be taking, but it's probably going to be the Escort.
