......Then Phil joined the game and did the dirt work to slow down the Maserati.......
eek eek eek eek you'll be calling me Pastor Maldonado next LOL.  I'll be more careful next time  angel angel angel angel

My pass on Bernie on lap 3 at Panoramabocht was much cleaner but he got me back at Tarzanbocht the very next lap. That Maserati was hard to pass.

Looking at the replay there was more than a little touch of warp in both cases Phil . That was the first race for ages when I actually raced  for the whole distance , I joined late having kind of sorted my GPL issues , still no race list but got in with the server IP , not raced 55's at Zandy so I loaded my Aintree s.u. and set off . I was still getting used to things during the race and drove steady because I still had no S/R available . It was an easy run in the Maser but I thoughrt  Donni would "have a go " in the latter stages but was surprised when Phil jumped the que , warp contact had me up the bank then I drove flat out to try to get back on terms but overcooked it on the last corner of the last lap .

Great racing with Phil Doni Fran Fulvio and the rest , thanks for the fun boys .

Let me give a shout out to Fran, as well, for a fine P4.  Full marks on that.
Thank you Doni, for me was a race without error and, exploiting the mistakes of others pilots,i have gained the position.
Probably, without the incident with Evil and the time lost, could be a P3 since Dulima have reached me in the last 4- 3 laps.
Anyway a good result for my standard not at high level.

Hello everyone and thank you for your compliments following this victory, the choice of my car was a good advantage.

After my mistake at SPA, I had a great need to score points, it's done.
I'm doing good tests and I'm surprised to stay in front, if Evil hadn't driven with the full tank he would have surely taken the pole.

Difficult start, I am as explained by JonnyO with a very long 1 and in addition to FPS problems at the start.

Evil and Tago pass, Evil goes fast and quickly walks away.
Following these steering problems, we passed him and Tago.
In Tarzan, Tago goes wide, bites the grass and breaks his engine.

After the race I quickly watched the replay because I was afraid to have touched Tago but fortunately not.
Evil behind make an exit so as not to get caught up and wasting time.
I drive well without errors and am 10s ahead of JonnyO.

I'm thirsty and at the start of the pit straight take my water bottle, hmmmm it's cold and it's good.
When closing the cap, the bottle escapes me and falls on me, a shower at 180kmh Smiley

I lose time and JonnyO comes back, very wet I am not very concentrated but manage to stay in front, phew it was hot !!!!!!

Thank you all, bravo to Brazil for this podium, bravo to the finishers and the organizers and see you next time.

great finish of a great day, hit by two guys within two corners. many thx.
Sorry Bastian, I had fps/lag problem at start and rearended Dulima at T2, luckily his car in flames could continue. The lap after while catching some Gordini's that had passed me in the process  I kept inside at the hairpin following Bastian, but there was contact with him. I waited for him sandbagging myself at the following turn but I saw on Pribluda that he was stuck. So I restarted dead last after another sand trip and after some laps I catched Doni and Bernie. Doni was faster on the straight drafting the Maserati so I couldn't pass him. On one occasion I had to throw the car inside at Tarzan to avoid to hit Doni cause no brake at all. Then Phil joined the game and did the dirt work to slow down the Maserati so Doni and me could continue the battle for 5th. I knew that it was very difficult to outbrake Doni at Tarzan so the last chance was to outdrag him to the s/f at last lap. Didn't work for 0.02 sec.  Cheesy

This problem of FPS at the start, is being common, mainly on mod 55. I also had this problem.

In SPA then, it was only improving when the descent started, up front.

It's all right my friend

Thank you all for the podium messages.

Bravissimo Alain and Jonny

Although I dropped to 12th, I was lucky for most of those in front of me, to be with cars lower than mine

I was also lucky with some dropouts (Unfortunately)

I had a great recovery run and no mistakes

I finished well and happy.

I love this mod!

Big hug to all and be well!
