I released 2.2 Beta 2 version which definitely ends the program crashing when running in low fuel. I was able to repeat the error by using car with very large fuel tank and very little fuel in it. After fixing, I ran some tests and could not get the error anymore.

I also updated the fuel indicator bar to visually better. Smiley

you can find the 2.2Beta 2 as well as the official 2.1 version downloads from the first post. Smiley

You need to run Affinity tool first then start GTL.

Yes, that's what I did.
GTL in windowed mode or not, it doesn't work!
I can see that it works, but nothing is displayed in game (speed, fuel...)

Maybe the "windowed" mode? Because even if it is checked in GTl Config, it does not apply !

Nothing will be displayed "in game". As long as you see the affinity tool start (CPU cores shown as active) that's it. Your GTL will be running with the specified number of cores active.

Do you mean that you are not seeing any information "in Game"? Like dials etc? Try pressing the 2 key (not on numpad).

I thought the speed and fuel could be displayed during the game!
I don't like the original dials, way too bulky!
 I use xd

Using XD is best. But I'm still confused by "I thought the speed and fuel could be displayed during the game!"

They should be. Well not speed but yes fuel and tyre wear and other drivers times relative to your own.

Yes, the fuel is present with xd. But not in a satisfactory way in my opinion. And speed is missing, not essential but useful sometimes. There was a software from the Germans (lowhud) which is a bit like xd, but better (speed, fuel, flags...) Unfortunately it works in windowed mode and sometimes bugs (and the windowed mode doesn't work for me) Too bad.

XD does offer options for fuel usage data

; 0 = Cycle from liters last lap to prediction  every 10 secs (default)
; 1 = Show only liters last lap & average
; 2 = Show only estimated laps based on last lap and average
