On a different note, despite Team Italy's attempt to scupper my race ( Wink )... for the 2nd season running I've managed to beat Fabri by 1 solitary point Shocked

dont think those results are correct?  I was battling with GT in the final stages of the race and crossed the line ahead. Plus i was only one car behind Stefan when he was 3rd or 4th until he disco'd. Only car i remember overtaking me was a late recovering fmg in the gold car  Undecided  But my stracker and crewchief completely lost the plot early in the race, maybe when fmg pitted from ahead or a track bug Huh

I can affirm MJ was behind me while I disco'ed and I was running in 4th place.

The first failures where blue screens and indicated Kernel Mode trap BSOD, so I did different diagnostic tests and did a fresh install of the latest GPU driver. Now it seems just to crash in game, so my main suspect is the powering of the Rift/USB's.
I always run Hardware Monitor to keep an eye on temps, those are around 60 and 65 degrees for my CPU/GPU on maximum load.

Checked power draw with the BeQuiet site and it says around 328W max without Rift and DFGT. So add another 50W for that and my PSU should be up for the task. Will see if I can have it tested somewhere though.

Latest system change was enabeling XMP profile for my RAM. Did run some stability tests, but maybe I should set this back to default... altough it improved my fps quite a bit.

Yep can confirm there was something odd going on. Stracker was showing you as a lap down so when I caught you I assumed you'd had an incident somewhere  Huh Good fun though  Smiley

My old DFGT is getting very notchy so I borrowed my son's wheel for this race which was so much smoother and seemed to give me a lot more control. Maybe time to invest.

Might be a good time to mention that as I've not had a gig since March, I'm currently available for online guitar tuition. My fees are £2000 per one hour session which I consider very reasonable  Cheesy

Did you run wildly off track somewhere Mark? I think missing the S/F line should be impossible on this track.
I'll either trundle through the replay or try and improve on my JSON editing from High Plains (The JSON gives all laptimes, so I should spot a 'double') - maybe even a corrected results screen with the correct number of laps showing this time!  Cheesy

no the only place I ran wide was the uphill chicane but even that was a mild detour when the car did its random 'im going to throw you off here for fun trick'  Grin but no major excursions. It all went haywire a few laps in so assume was either when Stefan quit or you (tim) pitted. I started getting blue flag messages and crewchief announced I was 8th or 9th even though I was still 4th or 5th at the time. Tongue

edit I did see a purple car go very wide twice (as in off into the boonies) so may be that caused the hiccup.

"ran wide"

You couldn't have cut the following corner more without jumping the Fence!  Cheesy

Lap 6 the counter didn't reset as you were so far inside T4 the previous lap that I suspect you missed the sector 1 timing point - I'll have to go through the JSON file and calculate what the laps should be, add one, move the rest down and then re-upload the race - it won't be quick! hammer

Quick question so I only have to wade through the results file once:

Looking at total time Mark (Spanner) finished behind Mark (Jonzo) - But was spanner on the leading lap, or 1 lap down?

I think - from his total time Vs Fabri's - that the results are correct there and it should indeed be +1 but would like to be certain.

I kinda remember that Fabri did lap someone unlike me, can't say who tho..

It was a nice race here but a tad alone. I managed to make a bit of gap ahead of Stefan after a few laps, comfortable enough. Then I saw his car parked after T6. Too bad he got that hardware or software problem again.

Later I started to lower the gap with Fabri until I started to be hot (how the hell should I keep using the fan for sim-racing in late october ?!  Shocked) so that I did several little mistakes, needed a cool down moment, then attack again and closed to him a bit again and eventually tires and myself were quite worn/hot so it was just a matter of not waste my position while Tim was flying back up to me.

Thank you mafia guys to have intimidated him before the start Grin, am preparing the pounds now..  Cry

Note that I can upgrade your ability to navigate through the AC UI for only 300£/h guys ! Usually 500, enjoy now !!  angel

I lapped only one car, if I remember well. And this car was not the Mark's car from the livery. I don't know if Mark was somewhere in the grass, but I don't think so.

Edit: with Mark, I meam Mark Johnson.
Because there's another Mark (spanner) here too, and he's probably the one I lapped.

Confusion time. angel
