Championship Standings

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Hi phspok,
How can I register for tomorrow's race? Is that still possible? Sorry if it is obvious... Thanks.

No need to register for these, just turn up. The password is automatically made available 24 hours or so before the race.

Look forward to seeing you on track Smiley

This race is actually on Thursday 5th. Don't want you turning up tomorrow to find no one there. Grin

Following a steam update, the red pit lane speed warning is on permanently and blocks out most of the virtual mirror!  Huh Roll Eyes I find it most distracting. Wasted most of my morning practice time trying to get rid of it. Is it a general problem or just me? Angry

Seems OK for me Bill. I presume you are fully exiting the pits & it is still on when you are out on track. Maybe something to do with HUD settings?

Thanks Geoff, as posted spent ages going through all the “Options” changing those that looked like they might be the culprit. Yes my pit speed limiter works OK but most disconcerting to have the warning screen there when you are flat out around the banking!

Any suggestions please on where to look?

Bill, if you cannot get rid of the pit speed display, you can move the virtual mirror so that it is not obscured.

On the main Raceroom screen in game, click on the cog wheels at top right, then on Control Settings, then Edit Assignments. Now scroll down to the Gameplay section & you will see an assignment called Move & Resize HUD Elements. If it does not have anything assigned to it, double click it & assign a keyboard key to it (mine is set to M). Now exit all the screens back to the main screen & now go and drive your car at Daytona. As you drive along the pit lane press the assigned key for moving the HUD elements (a little notice will come up at the left of the screen), now use your mouse, left click & hold on the virtual mirror & you can drag it to a different position where you can see it.

PS: I have posted at S3 forums to see if anyone has any idea what the problem is Bill.

Stay on the left side of the cones when exiting the pits. If you cross onto the track too early, the pit lane speed limit never turns off properly.

Thanks Geoff and azaris “Simples”! Will look at adjusting the virtual mirror later,  need to get more laps in - still having difficulties coming off banking on to road sections without wrecking car!  Huh Roll Eyes

Had the same problem with the speed limiter, just follow the narrow pit exit, and do not enter directly on T1 (divided by cones), otherwise pit limiter stays on.

anybody tips for T1?
