Save Accelerated!

Phill, I'm sorry to be writing around here, I didn't know where to express myself

I was checking my tokens and there was an error.

In Solitude, I went wrong with Brabham, I just realized the time I accelerated. Immediately, I went out and got the BRM.

And I ran from BRM, unfortunately I ended up hitting. And in the race, it was computed that I used Brabham.

I will use Lotus tomorrow and Eagle in Monza 10K, I already had my strategy ready and only now I realized this error.

You can check the replay of the race, I used BRM.

Thank you brother, I'm waiting for the answer

Eduardo

If I'm not mistaken, you have 22 tokens at this moment.

If you choose Lotus for Zeltweg race, at the end of the race you'll have 22+10-20 = 12 tokens

Then if you choose Eagle for Monza, you'll have enough tokens.
At the start, it will be 12+10 > 17

Maybe, Phil could confirm ...or not !

But if his Solitude is counted as Braby and not BRM he has +10

@Dulima

these tokens are generated by the database system of UKGPL itself, not by a human Wink

Just list your cars and tokens you drove yet so it's easy to prove

Solitude has been counted as BRM for Dulima.
I can't see any problem.

After every race, I check the token numbers for each driver.

For Dulima :

Kyalami - Brabham so  10+10-10 = 10 at the end of the race
Buenos Aires - Cooper  10+10-5 = 15
Mosport - Brabham      15+10-10 = 15
Nassau - Honda           15+10-3 = 22
Rouen - Lotus              22+10-20 = 12
Wiesbaden - BRM        12+10-0 = 22
Solitude - BRM       22+10-0 = 32
Mexico - Lotus            32+10-20 = 22

Hovering the mouse over the driver's points total in the championship table shows the number of tokens. This doesn't work on a mobile phone so I can't check until I switch my computer on.

However, as Axel has said, (for the 67F1) the calculation is done automatically by  the web site not manually by a moderator. So I doubt there is a mistake, the web site has never been wrong in my experience.

At Solitude whilst Dulima joined with the Brabham and it is listed on the results table (it is easy to remove this to prevent any confusion) the website only takes into account the car the driver crossed the start line in, in this case the BRM.

David's calculation confirms the website is correct.

So Eduardo you have enough tokens to take the Lotus and the Eagle for the last 2 races as David has said. Good luck in the race  tonight Smiley

Braked  slightly to avoid other cars, span into the armco & lost a wheel. Pressed Escape instead of Shift R. What an idiot.
Hope everyone else has better luck

Well, that was a new one for GPL. My monitor suddenly switched off - never had that before... it came back straight after I had escaped to the pits, but no idea what happened to the car after I lost the ability to steer it. Such a shame, that was a safe P3 at worst. Don't know what happened on L1 but it was clear that Dulima, Phil and I were in our own race, as we were keeping the same pace as those behind us.

The number of anti-virus messages that have come up as I have typed this might suggest what has occurred...

So much fun. I love this track and always have good racing here

I threaded my way through the inevitable lap 1 pile ups (although I did have a scrape at the first corner which is going to be moderated...) and ended up something like eighth but smugness set in and I went too wide on the ostkurve, caught some grass, span and hit somebody (Doni I think) sorry.

After that some battles with Albert - I was catching him but managed to spin all by myself Sad Then Fran and I had a few laps but Fran suddenly disappeared - don't think I did anything untoward but...

Fran, of course, caught me but at the same time as the leaders, I hoped they might drag me back up to him and I found myself with a faceful of Ferrari pipes. Couldn't hold on though. Couldn't believe there were only 6 laps to go.

I was struggling throughout with sky high temps on my left front - all the others were cold... can't seem to get a driveable set up that actually warms the tyres. Odd about the left front because I didn't see that in practice at all.

Any tips on how to balance the set up to save that left front?

Feeling ridiculously pleased not to get lapped by more than the front four... small steps. Got my fastest lap on the last one too.
Enjoyed the race and was glad to see the flag. Race flew by

I'll have to look at the replay in case I was in any incidents but that was my best drive in the 67F1s for a long time (certainly this season). Grats to Dulima (Eduardo) on a solid win, I tried hard to catch you but you were too quick and it seemed as if you always had something in reserve. The chase was over when I clipped the grass and spun at Dr Tiroch Kurve. Thankfully I only lost a couple of seconds and my position was not compromised.

Pepe, it looks like the server dropped you from the results. We can fix that don't worry.

Don't know what happened at Dr Tiroch Kurve on lap 1, but I managed to squeeze past the 3 cars that were spinning. Thankfully no contact  sweatdrop
