"Privateer" drivers are allowed a maximum of one reset with a compulsory Stop & Go within two laps.

Yes, that was a bit ambiguous,
the 10k was last used in 1965 for F1,
for the world championship of sports cars and prototypes the chicanes were built in 1967

But I love it - 96% full throttle

I have some troubles with my pedals (G27). It started a few days ago and today it really became just horrible. My throttle has a lot of spiking. Today I was 4s slower as the car just does not accelerate anymore. Why must it happen at such a track:

I will try to clean the Pontentiometers tomorrow. From what I have read this should solve the issue. Not sure if I am able to do it or if I will just break the pedals. I hope I can make it to the race on Sunday.

I had a similar problem with my G25. I sprayed the potentiometers with this stuff and it helped. Hopefully something similar is available locally. I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron but I didn't want to start pulling the pedals to bits if I didn't have to.

I've since changed to a Thrustmaster wheel and pedals which use Hall Effect devices so I shouldn't any similar problems in future.

Just to say that with my aging G25 pedals, I got away with opening the case & spraying some contact cleaner into a gap in the pots.  (I didn't do it properly by removing them; splitting them open & wiping clean).

It did buy me another couple of years before having to do the same again.

It did buy me another couple of years before having to do the same again.

Phil & Dave, thanks for your advice! I also just sprayed the pots without removing them and splitting them open. So that made it easier.
However, it turned out to become quite a thriller in the end. After doing so the pedals did not work anymore. When I re-opened the case I saw the massacre.  One of the screws must have cut one of the cables while screwing it in in order to put the case together. It was a bit clumsy to be honest as I felt a little resistance. So I went to a local electronics store to buy a luster terminal. With it was able to reconnect the cable and now it seems the pedals work again, also without any spiking so far.

My W10 and W7 PCs suddenly have strange rotation angles wit G27!

I share your pain, Doni. Molteni couldn't hold his line near the overpass on L1 and banged into Eduardo. They both spun, catching the Honda and me up in this stupid, utterly avoidable mess. Naturally, Molteni was able to continue (as was Eduardo, though probably so badly damaged he'll be uncompetitive), but the Honda and I through no fault of our own had the usual retirement inside one minute of racing.

If I'd knocked out two cars on the first lap and damaged another through my own incompetence, I'd have retired my car on the spot.

Well, chances are you'd have been wiped out along with 4/5 other people half way round the lap, sadly Doni. I wasn't a victim of it, but probably yet again because I qualified well. Just like at Zeltweg there was suddenly so much air behind me it was unnerving - looks like Fran crashed into Dulima entering Vialone/Ascari and caused absolute chaos. Poor Dulima actually survived the melee but got taken out by a backmarker who came round the very fast left and didn't really have anywhere to go. I was happy to sit in P3, didn't think I had the pace for the two in front of me. Sadly one of them over committed to Parabolica and I crashed in sympathy, but lost a wheel doing so...

That's 2 solid P3s in a row I have lost...
