Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 0h01m49s

Contact between Francesco and Dulima's cars.

Francesco is at fault, he moved over onto Dulima's side of the track. Dulima moved a bit but he was still on his side of the track.

Dulima requested for no penalty so we will reduce the penalty and lost places to a "Caution"...

Server replay time: 0h02m30s

After the previous incident with Dulima, Francesco did an uncorrect stop and go (he didn't fully stop his car).

Save Accelerated!

I really don't know how I survived that accident, i thought my run was over

Unfortunately many pilots left there

I accelerated with the car and saw that it was normal, I decided to continue and had a really fun race

Drake and I had a great battle in the final laps

Regarding the touch between me and Francesco, the time I thought about taking my foot off to avoid disputing the curve, it was too late.

It was a racing incident, I stayed on my line, but unfortunately it took too many drivers

Let more fun races come next season

Congratulations Markus on the championship title

Baab for second place.

And a beautiful third place for my brother Doni, who was a warrior and achieved an important result, being very constant with your BRM

It was a great pleasure for me, sharing curves and being on the track with all of you

I love this simulator, I love our GPL family

We will always be together, my brothers!

Grats to Markus on being our series champ.
Forgot to say congrats to Markus for the championship

Congratulations on the c'ship Markus, you have driven very well this season, fast and consistent.  You had some luck along the way but were also caught-up in a fair few incidents you didn't cause.  I was particularly impressed with your Solitude qualifying, a good 3-4 secs quicker than me in the same car.  Well done to Doni too, stellar season in the BRM, very consistent...apart from this race o course...  I am reasonably pleased with my own performance, bettered some PBs, got to like the sweet handling of the Cooper, but I did have a few DNFs so I'll be looking to improve there.

As for many, this race was very disappointing for me, my race ending on L1 in the mass pile-up.  In my view this was a totally un-necessary collision, racing so hard on L1 of a long slip-streaming race, both drivers in the fastest car.  For me the race win isn't as important as turning-up and having a good race with others, therefore, particularly on L1 I  try to take extra care, even if it means driving like a Granny in places.  I am actually wondering whether we need to revise the rules and allow a reset in such circumstances.  Food for thought.

Anyways, I would like to end on a high note, really enjoyed the racing this season, looking fwd to the next one!  Thanks for running/moderating the series.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,

Bob.

@Bob & Dulima
Thanks for the congratulations! And congrats to you Bob for second place. I remember you wrote you started to use cockpit view during the season and since then you became more consistent. The last race was bad luck for you. Unfortunately the lap one pile up ended our championship battle early. However, with the BRM at monza10k it would have been quite hard for you to score a lot of points.

I was particularly impressed with your Solitude qualifying
I really loved Solitude. The flow is just great but it was also the toughest track this seasons. I spun at least twice during the race as I pushed really hard to get back to the top after my first corner mistake. At this track I struggled most to push without errors for a whole race length. Also in my practice race I spun.

My best race was in Rouen I think. I started third behind Bastian and Dulima and the three of us had a close fight until the finish line. None of us did a major mistake and it was an intense battle! I am looking forward to expirience more races like that one!
