GTR2 Fun Race at Spa 04 (light rain)

All forum members welcome.

Date: Wednesday 25th October

Practice 1: 8:15pm (30 mins)
Qual 2: 8:45pm (20 mins)
Warmup: 9:05pm (2 mins)
Race: 9:07pm (40 mins)

Cars allowed: Any 2003 or 2004 NGT, Mosler, Morgan, BMW M3, Seat Toledo, 911 Bi-Turbo, Gillet Vertigo
Weather: 30% rain
Track: Spa 04
Race Start Time 14:00

Server: Simracing.org.uk
Password: here

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules - especially the speed limiter starting procedure.

Porsche is so nervous on straights in the wet, it's quite a challenge to keep it going straight and you have to fight more on straights then in the corners.  Huh  This will be tricky.

It's a massive improvement on GTR1.  I've only had the 1 wet race (at Anderstorp some time back, there were only 8 of us then - times have moved on) - but it was awesome.  Everything feels more as it should, and it looks absolutely awesome with the detail up high.  Gutted I've got other commitments, cause I'd love to have a blast/slide round Spa.

Good to hear this has improved as well. I remember in GTR1 it was like driving on ice when you were starting to spin. Or it just snapped away suddenly. In GTR2 you get a warning at least and still be able to regain controll when it snaps.

toe in front and rear to cure this, should keep things straight....
