ARGHHHH, GTL is trying my patience. Had a Logitech G-Hub update yesterday now GTL will only start once then it won't run again. I have to reboot the PC to get it to start again.  Angry

PS: Looks like I have to start GTL first, minimise it then start the logitech software, plug wheel in, load profile & then bring GTL back up, seems to work then.  Roll Eyes

No that doesn't work either, GTL will start again that way but the wheel inputs don't register in game. Grrrrrrr!!!!!!!

Can you restore to a previous version?

Not sure, the Logitech software automatically updates & I have never looked into if updates can be stopped or restored to an earlier version. Cannot get any of my GTL installs to work now with the Logitech GHub software, even rebooting the PC, so something in the update has messed things up. Odd that it worked initially & now won't.
I meant to restore Windows to before you installed the problem

Maybe try to start gtl without connected steering wheel, then restart after connecting it?! ...

As Tony suggests Geoffers, can you possibly revert Windows to a previous checkpoint (from before the update) via System Restore ?    Depending on how you're setup, that might get rid of the update.

Updated my setup to make the car behave less like a boat, you can find it under the name of "boss mustange v2b2". A bit tricky on cold tyres, so don't judge it prematurely

That didn't last long...  Cry

Screwed up qualifying by accidently running with race fuel initially, and messed up too many laps.  Probably wouldn't have been any further up the order though, even if I had matched my earlier pb.

Screwed up the start even more; too few revs bogged down the car completely, and just as I had been relieved that this time Matt was too far back to outstart me, he came streaking past..  Roll Eyes

Chased after him & Christian, who also had made it past.  After a few laps, Matt & I both narrowly missed two stationary cars at the first chicane, one being Christian, the other Dimitar.  Tried putting pressure on Matt, with Christian not far behind and eventually replaced by a recovering Dimitar.  That was just before my early demise.  Following close behind Matt, it caught me completely by surprise when we encountered Robby's practically stationary car at the entry to the fast S bends.  Had nowhere to go exept straight into the barrier and race over..  Lips Sealed

Thanks to Hristo & Dimitar for providing setups & hotlap replays - the latter were enlightening regarding the line through those S bends.  Went with Hristo's first setup, as that worked best for me.  Not enough time to explore the updated version, so stuck with the one I knew.

Sorry Dimitar, I may have caused your withdrawal during the 2nd accident ...

The race was more thrilling than I expected (I don't like city circuits too much) But besides the 2 incidents involving Dimitar, I was in a good place with some interesting fights but I started doing too much error (I do not know how many times stuck in the chicanes !!) to find myself almost last ... Undecided

No worries Chris, it was all my fault for the result tonight. I shouldn't hit that barrier on turn 1 to begin with.

Grats to amazing Hristo. I had no chance to go down to 51 here even though i try hard. grats to Manfred and Daz on their podium and the other 4 guys that survive on of the toughest circuits as of late here.

Thanks for the suggestions Tony & Erling, but the problem is GHub automatically updates itself when you start it, so it would have just installed the update again. Have not yet figured how to stop it doing that. Anyway after failing to get it to work this afternoon I gave up & will try again tomorrow. AC & RaceRoom still run fine, it is just GTL that is kaput.

Sounds like a virus...  Wink

Hope you find a solution Geoff; must be mightily annoying

This Ghub thingy doesn't attract a lot of praise online from what I've read.............

Sorry to hear about your woes Geoffers. All I can offer is that "I feel your pain brother".

I hope that you get things sorted soon, but I am afraid this is the wrong person from whom you should expect any technical advice, other than dipping the whole thing in a bucket of warm soapy water and initiating a clean install with a large mop.

No it doesn't but it was the only way I could get my G29 to work on Win10, the older Logitech Gaming Software I used on my Win7 PC would not recognise the wheel on Win10.
