FWIW.....
I have just spent ( wasted??) around an hour playing with and adjusting just about every parameter on the single setup page. ( If I used the 2 page setup options there were just too many parameters and possible combinations)
The only aim was to get a car that did not try to kill me at each corner and at each gearchange
.
I used Geoffer's advice on diff settings as a basis, plus Tony's working setup, which were certainly better than the default but still not comfortable.
Then I remembered and used the setup tips document that Geoffers posted some time ago.......slowly going more and more radical as the results appeared to be taming the wilder eccentricities of these F3 cars.
I have now arrived at a place where the car is stable (ish) and at least I am focusing more on the braking points/apexes/gearchanges than on keeping myself alive
. I have no idea if I am mediocre or just plain slow, but at least I can run for 3-4 laps in a relatively comfortable and relaxed manner without testing armco and trees for impact resistance.
Taking a tea break now ( with chocolate Hob Nobs ) to refresh my brain, then maybe some longer runs to see if the tyres will support my setup for 12 laps or more.....probably destroyed after 6 laps
