Grats on emerging as champion, Jonny!  Smiley

Well done to Ricky & Uli for podium runs in the title race.

Grats to Axel on the race win and to Alain & Eric for taking podiums.  Well done.

PS: Still looking for the race replay link.

After having had several beers in honor of the champion, and great friend Jonnie, I will now narrate my race strategy.
I was doing tests with the honda with full tanks, and each lap I made was 2 to 3 seconds slower than with half tanks.
I started to think that it would be about 30 seconds of refueling and if jonnie came out with full tanks and could get 2 seconds per lap, I could have a 10 second margin on him when he came out of the pits, but unfortunately I couldn't check with him, but Yes, with the other Brazilian friend Raoni, what happened to me when I was tanking and I couldn't reach it anymore.
But making a parenthesis, if I had started with full tanks, maybe I would have arrived in 5 or 6 positions, and with a pit stop I would have arrived in 5 or 6 positions, it would have been almost the same, I needed to arrive 3 to win the champ, but Against the eagles and lotus it was totally impossible also with that quality of handling with those who drove it, very well axel, alan and eric, with those bullets.
but an excellent job from raonni with the same car of mine, achieving that 4 position.
Anyway with a pit stop or without a pit stop, it would have ended the same, there was no way to try to reach 3rd place, or just hope that luck would bring me up, but I don't like things like that.
We had a season of fighting from you to you with Jonnie in all the races, one of them hurt me an accident with Tristan, which fortunately I could continue and the one that hurt me the most was loneliness, that I crashed alone, on the penultimate lap, there I can say That he lost the championship, since in Mexico Jonnie was very strong and there was nothing to do there, against him.
Anyway, thank you very much for this beautiful championship, I enjoyed it a lot and as my brother Joao says, one ends with the neck, back, hands, and all this old body very sore, but I'll be here next year, so thanks guys for everything ...

I just noticed that I can scroll down on below the championship table and find more stuff.

Congratulations to Dave Rainier on becoming Privateer Champion, never finishing lower than 2nd in his 8 scoring races. Very consistent.

Congratulations to Enrique Farina, who is Works Champion. Finishing level on points with Jonny, I think I'm right in saying that he wins because he had 2 poles compared to Jonny's none. I thought that it was separated on number of wins, 2nds, 3rds if scores were level, but no. In the Rules tab in the blue line at the top of this page, third post, it says that if scores are level, then it is decided by number of events entered, followed by best finish, then best qualifying, before looking at how many wins, etc. Enrique did indeed have more wins than Jonny, but it was the poles that made him first!

Yes Fulvio

With 70+ you notice every year in your bones

I had to loosen my muscles to avoid cramping, on the long straights I did loosening exercises with my arms and neck.
