I would be just curious to try Tim's setup for Merc. I always hated that car, and never been fast with it. Even if it's difficult to put together the perfect lap, BMW has a potential laptime in my hand of 55.2. Instead, after 50 laps with Merc, if I put together my best intermediate, I'm half a second slower in it. Merc has a good top speed, a good braking, a good cornering speed, but when it's time to record a timed lap it comes out I'm always slower in it. Did you mean 54.2?

You'll have to wait - I haven't made one yet! Too busy pulling the G25 apart and trying out a new Flight stick.
I've had a quick go in the Caymans for tomorrow but aren't sure when I'll be trying these

Last wednesday was not my last race with the g25, I bought a g920, I just can't drive it and I think tomorrow I'll send it back to Amazon. Has anyone had the same experience as me?

Does it have an FF preset for AC? If not then it might be worth googling first to see if you can find recommended settings. Otherwise I'm afraid I can't help as I haven't spent all my money yet!

Matteo has kindly suggested to use a software to modify the FFB settings and to generate a LUT file, i'll try to go in that way and watch what happen.
Now it is completely undrivable, no way to control the car properly.

Cripes, i havent done a lap yet will hopefully jump on this evening and learn the new track. I can see i am very behind the amount of lappage done on stracker Watching that Avus YT video with the Merc out in front driven by 'Thim'..i was thinking hang on a minute.... Also did you see the huge pile up in race 2? Gives a clue what could go wrong with this combo

I hope I can do this race chaps, but I'm not sure of it at the moment. It's possible that I'll have to make a looooong work videocall after dinner. In that case I won't have any chance to join these races. It depends in part on me, so I'll try to do my best to finish earlier, but can't assure nothing

Not the most exciting track in the world, but that braking zone for the hairpin is something in these cars Trying to drop 6 gears and braking without snaking from full chat Then the Beemer suffers with a long first gear so is tardy out of it. Got some laps in last night, but not enough, still off the pace

I'm not sure about that, Mark. It's obviously not too complex but, considering it's just a couple of straights, a chicane, hairpin and parabolic, it does offer a lot being quite technical and full of challenges... I quite like it.

Looking at the timing I think the first 8 or 9 individual times are within 0.6 of a sec - provided we can manage braking into T1 safely I think this round will be anything BUT boring

Is there a penalty for straight lining chicane.
