Stock and Stock Only adjustments I made was to adjust the dead zones for the clutch and throttle to work around my ancient and somewhat unrealiable potentiometers (There are good videos and even a guide on some website on how to pull your pedals apart to clean those bits). My are so heavily used that I have to do it once every 6 months or so now. Hence getting the Thrustmaster pedals as they are hall effect so in theory the sensors can't wear out.

Tim, let me know if you would like me to share my Thrusmaster (T500RS) settings if it can help you getting a nice feeling. I improved mines over the time and it can make a huge difference of course.

Wow I spend more time tweaking and faffing with my ffb than I do racing Currently I'm using the "Recommended" LUT for the G25 https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/rasmusps-lut-guide-for-g27-29-and-dfgt.16799/ which I'm very happy with, but knowing me that will probably change For the brake pedal I'm using a DIY version of the "Nixim" mod which is basically a lump of rubber inside the spring to limit travel and give greater resistance. So far this works much better than the squash ball I had in my old DFGT pedals. I've found Servisol best for cleaning pots. Been using it on pedals and my guitar and amplifier pots for years....real miracle juice.

Will be interested to hear how you get on with the Thrustmaster wheel and their loadcell pedals Tim.
Having moved from my G27 to a T300 6years ago (gulp just checked) I'm still in love with it and will probably stick with Thrustmaster, their pedals look attractive compared to fanatec and their wheels sound quite different to set up as well.

I'll try and remember to update you then - I think the pedals are returning to stock around the end of Feb, so I guess I'll get them end of Feb, beginning of March. The SHH is the annoying one - can't even order until late next week, and then a loooong wait. If not for Covid restrictions I could make my own in that time!

i upgraded mine during lockdown Lorenzo, bit the bullet after 12yrs using a Playseat, and went full ali-rig, TrackRacer TR160. Its a great setup, very sturdy and very adjustable. Over-priced like they all are though considering they are just packs of cut aluminium profile frame bolted together and a seat of your choosing. I bet they have a minimum 50-70% mark up! Lol, i only just read your post.. i think they are, though i was shocked how expensive seats generally are! Did you go with a Trak Racer seat?

Yes Mark, even they are over priced but cheaper than a Recaro etc. I was tempted to swipe the Recaro Pole position from the pax seat of my old 911 and use that. the TR seat is pretty well made and comfy actually. This is a tricky track, learning it in my minimal practise time will be a challenge

I think I've done that correctly - If I remember correctly you'll both get a PM with a link in it. You have to do what ever it says to accept, and then you'll be in the team.
Let me know once you're both in as I think I'm currently classed as the founding member, so will have to resign in order to hand the team over.

The minute the start lights came on got a drive through for no reason then kicked to desktop. Got a clean install of win10 and AC. This only happens on a Sunday. Feel like giving up! Anyone know if there is a log file anywhere to give me a clue.

Hi Bob, I think you have the wrong thread - but the most likely thing I can think of is that whatever you are driving doesn't have a manual clutch. Therefore as soon as you select gear the games considers you to have 'gone'.
I don't think the results files contain info on this, and not sure if any other files are made that might help. Depending on your pedal set it may be worth checking the signal from them from AC's settings screen - if you have dirty pots then the signal might be noisy enough that you aren't considered to be waiting on the clutch?

On a sad side note it seems we lost our Bob buddy . I hope it's not because of his crash into the wall in Berlin after he punted my back in the chicane... Perhaps we should message him ? Also Vva never showed up in this series..
