No worries Tony, we all make mistakes.

Amazing race. I knew we will be close with Hristo nut not that much. Smiley

I made amazing second hot lap in qualy with new personal best and took the pole but H was faster at the start and was now the new leader. During the whole first lap i was siting behind him waiting for opportunity. And the opportunity came at the big straight when i overtake him. Unfortunately i lock the brakes before the chicane and he was back into the lead. And at the start/finish straight i totally lost focus and hit the barrier between the circuit and the pit stop  Huh Roll Eyes Grin

Fortunately as we don't have engine damage i was able to continue but with some less speed on the straights. Hristo was pulling away fast even though i was driving at 100% and i thought it was over. But i think he wanted more interesting race and he lost power and i was back behind him. My tires were better but still without enough power on the straights.

So we had another great battle and we finish almost together. Smiley

Grats to Hristo and Erling and sympathies to the gentlemen who had problems.

Tough race. Dimitar was out of reach in qualifying and I decided to blindly changed the setup before the start, hoping it would give me a better chance.

I made a better start and then had to fend off Dimitar for most of the lap. He had a good run on me at the end of the lap, overtaking on the long straight, but then messed up his braking for the last combination and I was out in front again. Then he had his collision with the pit armco and the damage it caused to his car seemed to compromise his top speed, which worked to my advantage. I decided to wait for him a few times, so we would have a battle.

The setup changes didn't work out so well - the longer gears and lower tyre pressures improved the car in some places, but made it worse in others. Pace was not so good on new tyres and then the I had massive oversteer in the second part of the race as I had destroyed my rears.

The latter meant Dimitar was again all over my back during those last 2 laps, especially the last one, and he almost got me before the long straight.

Congrats on the great pace, Dimitar and the rest of the gang who managed to survive until the end!
