Championship Standings here

Grid/server capacity: 22

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (14 laps)

Track: '60's Le Mans Download this

Cars allowed Maserati 450 S (4.5 only), Aston Martin DBR2, Ferrari 375+ Download this

Drivers in 1st to 3rd places in the Championship Table must drive the Ferrari.
Drivers in 4th to 6th places in the Championship Table must drive the Aston Martin or the Ferrari.
Drivers in 7th and above in the Championship Table must drive the Ferrari, Maserati or the Aston Martin.

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: x2
Fuel consumption: x2
Pitstops: Required

Server: simracing.org.uk Wednesdays
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: Vintage tyres should be chosen if available. This race is started by a flagman who doesn't have a flag! Strongly suggest that Auto-countdown is enabled.

Did you revise the car allocations Tony - I distinctly seem to recall having more appealing options the first time I looked  Huh

I dropped the Mercedes and reviewed the allocations.

As I haven't raced in this series so far this year, I presume the cars are the ones we have used in previous Fifties series. In which case should it be the Ferrari 375 Plus or is this a different car?

I would suggest turning cuts of - I just got a cut warning in the MIDDLE of the track, apparently because the rear end started to step out (but still meters within the track boundaries!!)

Just got another one, same place (stretch leading up to Maison Blanche), this time the rear wasn't even dancing, and again completely within track borders.

Just tried a test of the server etc and I am getting "car not present" for the Maserati 4.5 ? Ferrari is OK and so is the DBR2??

Masser works OK offline  Undecided.

P.S. Did a couple of laps in the Fezza

I got a "CUT TRACK" message on the approach to Maison Blanc and I was definitely on centre line of tarmac...maybe a few degrees of slide as I passed through the cutting, but 4 wheels on tarmac? Another "CUT TRACK" approaching Indianapolis when I put 2 wheels onto grass alongside the concrete wall? I don't think there is room to get the whole car off the tarmac at that point?

Sorry forgot to turn cuts off. They are off now. Maserati is active on the server and works for me. Please try again.

Still get the error message re Masser??

The car works fine off line  Huh  Can someone please send me a folder for the Maserati and I will overwrite what I currently have?

I notice that the old repository of cars and circuits is still there but I find that the files cannot be downloaded via Google Drive. Has something changed? or is it once again ME  Undecided
