I may need the speed advantage on the long bit to make up for the rest of the circuit....

If I get time (big if at the moment) I might look at a different BoP for the Nords. I'll keep the power to weight values we've had through the season but up the power on the Alfa and Ford until they have a top speed that is more in line with the BMW and Merc. Just be aware that to do this I'll be forced down my least favourite route of adding weight, although for a 3 or 4 lap race I don't think that should matter in terms of tire wear.

Thanks, Tim. I think it is worth rebalancing the BoP for this event as Matteos' points are vey sensible. Alternative, if the big 'if' proves unmanageable, we could restrict the field to Mercs and BMW that seems to be the most suitable for the Nords with the current BoP. All very exciting in my opinion.

Great video finding Jos ! Made even more heading for this final special event. Thanks, Maxime... Check out 24:14: "... take his version of that corner..." Love it! Yes, those Mercs were looking for this trajectory very aggressively on every lap. ^^

Well, as I said earlier, this is my only worry : I don't know exactly for the Alfa, but should be easily kept behind in that straight line. But for sure, the Sierra would just be like cows looking at the train pass. Maybe the best way to go would just be to save Tim's real life some time and just go for a BMW vs Merc duel.

That makes sense... At the end of the day, back in the days, you could only see Mercs and BMWs up front... And Tim might use better his time in calibrating the brake pedal towards alienship... Jos

To be fair I'm just going to use the drag strip to balance top speeds and then use ballast to sort the acceleration. It should work well enough for here in a fun race

Why not just forget BoP's and let cars use their own pros & cons, I'm happy run any car but not Merc.

Nice ! If you're not bothered to spend that additional bit of time, it's even better. And whatever the exact BoP, you'll do fair enough for a fun event for sure. Your overall BoP work was great for the whole series, you did the job for sure !

To perfect it for another season all we need is a rolling start

To perfect it for another season all we need is a rolling start AC is not, unfortunately, well placed for that but we could manage it ourselves with a controlled extra lap up front in short tracks. Not for the Green Hell, though. But it would be pretty cool.

Hello chaps, there's an high risk I won't be on time for the start of the quali, but I'll try to do my best. I'll have a work meeting in the late afternoon near city center, so I hope to finish in time to be there. If you don't mind to posticipate the start of the qualif. by 5 minutes I'd be grateful, otherwise it won't be a matter See you

Apologies for the starts. I feel really crappy about it. Don't have the replay from the first race, but I believe it was Kai I hit. Second race I made a contact with Bob on the second race start, and I felt disgusted, for a moment I thought about just stopping right there. I was distracted and as I tried to accelerate from a recovery, two cars went by, and I made a second contact spinning Stefan. Sorry to all. I did get hit twice later in the second race, so I got some of that bad karma back. On to GPL's.

Well - that's over then (Boo! ) Congrats to Matteo - I think there'll probably be a penalty from R2 at Norrisring (I haven't had chance to look properly yet) but you're still far enough ahead to not have to worry. My bump with Fabri in R1 here will also have to be modded by someone else from the team here as it happened in the moderated zone - I've not seen the replay there yet either so really no idea what that will yield. On that note my apologies if needed to Fabri, I think it was just a misunderstanding but still unfortunate. Thanks to all who took part, it's been a fantastic series IMO We have the Fun race at the Ring coming up next, and then some testing that we'll need for the GPL season to check if some of my wanted tracks are safe to run. I'll figure out when GPL67 is due to kick off and then put a thread up
