Championship Standings

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Well that was scary, I was driving a completely different track as my braking and corner speeds are so differnt in the porsche which i wasnt expecting compared to those Nissan tanks. So into that second corner i was braking at the 70 board, sorry Glenn if that looked like a dive. Back straight caught me out and spun despite hitting the car in front.

I think you didn't hit Glenn. But me in the first lap at T3/T4 you hit me on the inside (i knew you where on the inside, but couldn't correct because i would loss grip. So i was expecting the bump, and joined at the back of the pack after Glenn.

Second hit for you was in the same corner in lap 4/5. Where Toni spinned.

Indeed the Porsche's are totally different, even the Volvo's. In this class you need to adept which car is in front of you and also behind of you (for defending).

For me, first time second  w00t

Great start jumped from P4 towards P3, but after the slight hit with spanner in T3/T4 i went wide and joined at the back of the group. Together with Glenn we passed a lot of spinned cars. And went after 20min towards P2 and P3. Last 10min Glenn made also mistakes, but he had a faster pace and catched me again. So for me it was hanging on, until you made a mistake what happened and i had a 5sec lead. Last 3 laps the gap reduced and i was happy at the last lap my counter went from 2laps towards the final lap. Saved me Smiley

Congrats towards Geoff and Glen for the battle

Congrats Geoff on a dominant victory from lap 1 to finish and big well done to Birger for second, you seem to have that GT-R working well now and had to work hard for that second place.

It wasn't me Mark hit on lap 1, I was way too far back at that point. It was a shame both he and Toni had spins as both were quick early on. I inherited a few places due to spins and mistakes and before long I was locked in a race long battle with Birger. Things quietened down a little mid race as I pulled 3-4 seconds on Birger and wasn't really closing on Pete.

Later on Pete had a spin at the last turn and as much as I tried to hook the BMW inside, I ended up hitting his car side on so apologies. Birger was able to sneak through as I got going again putting us back into a battle. I did momentarily get back past but a slide into turn 1 and Birger didn't need a second invitation. The BMW is usually kind to its tyres but here struggled so I didn't have any extra pace late on.

Don't apologise Glenn, all my fault. First off silly spin then the game physics take over, little revs and the car doesn't move, few more revs and the tyres spin up. I just couldn't move the darn thing to get out of the way. Quit then in disgust.

Hate Leguna Seca, just can't drive a car around there competitively. In two minds whether it's worth the pain and trauma.

Yes, I had quite a handy lead at the end & would have crossed the finish line with 6-7s left so slowed on the last lap to save doing another.

Little to report really, got a really good setup for the Nissan once the tyres were warm although it was a little slidy on cold tyres so had to be careful on the opening couple of laps. Looked like there were several candidates for 2nd place so congrats to Birger for winning that race & to Glenn in 3rd. Shame so many fell by the wayside. Sad

Been having problems recently, I have had less trouble in morning practice but the last couple of Thursdays I have been tired after a busy day and just not consistent and end up with a wrecked car.  Roll Eyes

There was a group of cars to the side of me into turn 2, Raceroom doesn't layout the labels well when cars are close together, I assumed Glenn was the black/ red car there. Sorry anyway. I knew if I was stuck driving the corner speed you guys were doing I was going to be right at the back!

I didn't last to lap 4 or 5!

Once the tyres overheat when you spin its so easy to spin again!
