"Brake sensitivity" should be called "brake linearity", but they use this misnomer because they think people don't know what the word "linearity" means. While I have experimented with values other than 50% for the purposes of easier trail braking, I don't think it's particularly useful if your pedals are working properly. Setting the linearity to 0% means you will have a long stretch of pedal travel where very little brake input happens, and then suddenly it goes to nearly full brake and you lock up.

In this case the problem is that the brakes are too strong and lock well before full pedal travel is reached, in which case the proper remedy is to decrease the brake pressure.

Hi
Having seen your Org advertised in Raceroom forum 'Leagues and Communities' i thought it would be good for my R3E career to join a R3E community so i hope i am in the right place for 'newbie' drivers
R3E is my first online sim racing program bought in January 2021, so i am still finding my way. I have some experience online racing but would like to join a UK based organisation and particiapte in fair races with courteous drivers - anyone that has tried a 'Ranked Race' will understand my frustrations

If i am in the right place then can i join an existing championship or should i wait until a new season/chamionship starts?

thank you /Nigel

Hi Nigel & welcome.

You are quite welcome to join our races at any time, we don't have any closed shop policy. You will find the upcoming races at the top RH corner of the website, RaceRoom events are prefixed E (ignore the Brands one at the top). We are running 3 alternating series on Thursdays at present, DTM92, Formula RaceRoom 90 & VW Sciroccos, & there are also RaceRoom events every other Sunday, currently for Cupra E-racer electric cars.

Tonight's race is DTM92 at Sonoma.
