DD, I don't think Imola is in any of the track packs, so you would need to buy it individually. As Matt said, if you use the Lada from the TC Cup class, that is one of the free cars you get with the game, so for tonight you would just need to buy the track. Hope to see you in RRE soon, if not tonight.

Guys, worth mentioning that these cars, as well as those in the other two current series, got a tyre model update in the game update before Christmas. So your existing setups will not be compatible.

I think the server needs a reset (constant in R1 mode with 1 player in the game)??

They changed it so that there is the option to have jump starts enabled. I totally forgot about it as I had raced a few ranked races where it is not enabled, so like Pete I jumped the start & got a drive through. Didn't make much difference though as I just cannot get on with the TCR cars at Imola & spent as much time off the track as on it.

Congrats to Glenn on a dominant championship win.  I Am Not Worthy I Am Not Worthy clap clap

Again great racing, first race with spanner but couldn't pass him.

Luckily second race i started before spanner and he was stuck behind me, later on in the race fights with Toni, Martin and Geoff.

Wauw towards Glenn, 100% success rate  thumbup2 I Am Not Worthy

Sorry towards Martin for two times having an influence on a crash towards you in the Villeneuve Chicane. First race i selected the wrong gear during corner entry so i went wide in the gravel and due to the slip i was slingshotted back on the track, where Martin hit me. Second race i went again wide with a train of cars behind me. This time my right wheels stayed on track so no problem. But the cars behind followed my mistake and crashed to each other.

Geoff and don't know what went wrong in Rivazza? Thought the fight would remain longer then 1 lap.

I was helped out by good starts in both races, Frex had great pace but after getting swallowed up at the start of race 1 I was able to maintain the gap and see out the race.

I didn't have the luxury of a gap in race 2 as Frex was always a car behind when trying to make up places and kept the pressure on all race. Frex was very quick through Acque Minerale and early on I tried to match his pace there but made a few mistakes going well out of track limits, in the end I accepted losing a tenth or so there each lap and drove better for it. Great racing and well done Frex, Toni and Mark on podiums.

Have to say I've massively enjoyed this series and love driving these cars as they produce really close racing. The first race at Salzburgring where Geoff and I ran inches from each other the entire race and side by side through the fast right at the end of the straight stands as my favourite race even without lucking into the win at the end. There seemed to be good battles up and down the grid with everyone achieving strong results at some point.

The points score in the end is a little misrepresentative as Geoff was unlucky to lose out on the first race at Salzburgring, also had stronger pace at points at Slovakiaring and Aragon and Frex had a slight edge at Imola.

Thanks Martin for putting all the work behind the scenes in  I Am Not Worthy

Great racing, terrible driving  Cheesy

Start of R1, I was ghosted into by someone with a jump start which confused me so didn't get the best start. Then I made a mistake in Villeneuve and got left behind in the sand traps. We had a battle with Geoff that ended when he made a mistake. Neither of us had our best day I guess.

R2, I had a better start but made some mistakes to let Birger and Matt past. There was a nice four-way train going on when Matt clipped the kerbs and went wide at the exit of Villeneuve. I opted not to lift and tried to ride it out, but he spun back onto the track and I collected him. The car was still going so I limped home.

Too bad about all the penalties, I think Pete would've been third in the standings otherwise. The jump-start was implemented some time ago but I guess we never raced these since then. Also the pit lane speed limiter is bugged so if you go to serve your DT you're likely to earn yet another one.

Congrats Glenn, frex, Mark and Birger for the podiums. Hopefully the upcoming DTM'92 and VW Scirocco series will provide equally exciting racing.

Pressed the wrong button for launch control at the start of race 1  Roll Eyes Apologies to anyone stuck behind me. Race 2 better start and kept pace with Glenn for most of the race without ever coming near enough to challenge.

Frex was very quick through Acque Minerale and early on I tried to match his pace there but made a few mistakes going well out of track limits, in the end I accepted losing a tenth or so there each lap and drove better for it.

Yes but you were easily gaining that back at the last 2 corners which I could not get right all evening. I didn't find good pace in these cars until the last couple of events, but even so Glenn would have been uncatchable - clean sweep of double header race wins is unheard of probably, big congrats! Looking forward to swapping these for the Scirocco though, which is a FWD car I actually feel at home in..

Thanks to all.

Congratulations to the Series podium.  thumbup2 thumbup2 thumbup2 Thanks Matt for organising this year’s racing! Grin I had little practice for the these two races because of my Hyundai handing  oops forgot about the tyres update and need to do a new setup (which of course I did with the Audi). Quite pleased with my laps in the later section of Race 2, when I put in a consistent series of fast (for me  Wink) laps!

This morning my recent DTM 1992 Beemer setup needed to be changed! I’ve now modified the default setup for Laguna Seca and put in a few laps, I have a tiny bit of over steer which I will try and neutralise using Geoff’s excellent Aide Memoire , when I have more time to experiment!

DTM92 will be one of the next series. The current event at Laguna Seca is the last event for Touring Classics + Pork964
