Good news: there is no more flu in our country!

My race was too much effort without a break, so I got out, sweating wet with a red head.

Bob look at Stefan Roess http://www.gplworld.de/en/grand-prix-legends/gpl-easy-installation-guide

To the GPU settings as your GPU sleeps running GPL!

Disappointed because my new system is a big leap from t'old un.  I pretty much have all Win 10 security turned off too, any advice welcome!
In my experience, the main improvements are in the graphics settings. I have an Nvidia card and I have to set the graphics options for each executable. You have to do a similar thing with the Radeon cards but I've no experience with them.

If it is any help I've done some screenshots of my settings and put them in a PDF. See here. I select the Open GL V2 rasteriser in GEM+.

The track was perfect for me. 60fps the whole time and no lag. Great track but very hard work in these cars, not a moment to rest. Managed a podium but only because of mistakes/misfortune ahead. Great race with Arf, Fulvio and Martin. I had 11 deg front and 13 deg rear so I had a decent top speed which made me difficult to pass. But on the climb up to the finish I had to feather the throttle which I think allowed Martin and Fulvio to climb all over my gearbox.

Hope you enjoyed it Arf, if you haven't driven these cars much you picked a baptism of fire on this track. It was tough! Grats to Andreas on the win and Fulvio for a very mature drive. Applied constant pressure until I cracked!
Great race behind you Phil till you spun at T1, almost no way to pass without mistakes. Only I ask if you had stiil the tires at the end of the race with all those kisses to rails  Grin
Also entusiastic final laps with Andreas  rockon

They just survived Wink But if the front wing damage was modelled and they were as delicate as they are in real-life, they would have been smashed to pieces after a couple of laps!

Yes, it was mega. I enjoyed it too. It was a great race with the best mod for me on a great track.
You were getting closer and closer in your Ferrari. Great driving!  thumbup1
A few people were faster than me and would have won easily, but I'll take it anyway.  punk

Good morning all.

Impossible last night to drive correctly on the server, my car was jumping as if I was on a 36fps server but in 60fps while I was well in 60fps but not in V1 because not possible under GEM to select it.

GEM only offers me 60fpsV2 or 60fpsV2newmod, not 60fpsV1, I think that's why my car was jumping on the server.

Why use 60fpsV1 when we were usually in V2newmod ?

Because of the circuit?
From the 69x mod?

Thank you and see you soon  Wink

Happy new year all

Sad news Alain.  You must have the V1 in GEM+/Options folder.  More good ideas for good framerate from the guys here.

An easy win for Bob, but for a testing track.

My race was lost at the first corner.  By being cautious I let Cookie by.  Then discovered I was faster on slow corners, and slower on fast corners.  It's not a winning combination, and our fight allowed the pack to close in.  Sorry to have tagged an Axle mid-race, while approaching a polite back marker, as it ended our battle. Cry

At race end, Andreas had won by patience, while friendly folk took turns to guard his tail.  And I battled my tyres with Phil, who beat me by tyre, sheer luck, and skill.

To Colin - I hope you didn't inhale too much smoke.  Lockups can be less healthy than lock downs.  BTW, the name I use at Ukgpl, originated years ago in California.  I used to Auto-X a Supercharged BMW during Summer months, and was told, "Mad Dogs and Englishmen go out . . .", for reason's unknown. Sorry Alain

Yes - the 69X mod is the only mod that can't be run with 60fpsV2newmod!

That is why I use the PW = 60fpsV1  Roll Eyes

I give you the V1 files -> https://www.sendspace.com/file/ywdgxx

Put them in .../GPLSecrets/GEM+/Options/ folder to see them in GEM+

If you want to drive with AI use the 60fpsaiV1 to get the correct rideheight of the AI - test it at Spa67 with 69X the AI are pretty good there...
