Will false starts be enabled for this, in other words will we need to use the clutch to start?

Server is up, "Prevent false starts" is set to "no" so take care not to jump the start.

Well done Geoff on a dominant championship victory Bit of a puzzling race for me and I was let off the hook by Geoff. My pace in practice and qualifying was much of a muchness so not sure why I managed to go just over a second quicker in the race on the same setup when I was driving to a number to try and save the tyres. About 10 minutes in I started to struggle and Geoff began taking chunks of time back. Not sure if I overheated the tyres but the car seemed very nervous and unpredictable. Geoff started to put the pressure on but spun out of T1. From there it was a case of protecting the tyres to the end. Well done Riccardo and Pete on the podiums.

Very good Geoff great championship, from the qualifications it seemed that my place maybe the third, but in the race I struggled to keep Spanner behind, then also Geoff, I didn't think I could make it, it was very hard and I congratulate all 2 very strong riders, but i have to say that with the latest update RaceRoom has gotten worse and i don't like it anymore, weird reactions that aren't real. if I continue to race here it is only because you are a good team. compliments

Congratulations to the Series Podium and thanks Matt for organising Thursday night’s racing. I lost my setup late morning but luckily recovered it in the evening for the race but unfortunately was a tad over geared. I was surprised I was only lapped with a few minutes to go, by then all my tyre warnings were flashing red and my car was handling like a pig but I managed to finish!

So far the physics changes had massively changed the cars. The car was really difficult to control both braking and turn in and spinning up the rears. Even during practise, after 8 laps the rears where yellow.
Managed to change a few things that equalled up the wear a bit more so actually during the race the car was ok, everything was wearing so the car was actually ok and still consistent. With Riccardo being rather defensive down the straight I moved to the outside but looked like Glenn had got closer so tried to go around the outside of the corner at the end of the straight but the sharpness of the turn spun the rears up and went straight in to the wall and killed the engine.
Is next weeks cars affected as well?

I can't remember what cars got the latest tyre model update. Their previous "update" is to me what changed things for the worse and some cars became undrivable to me. The latest tyre model has in some cases made things better, like I can now drive the DTM92. I have been careful to only add options to the latest vote that I could sort of drive. So next week is I think the new model I have no problem driving any of the WTRC cars, so if I can anyone can......
The next 3 series are not a difficult drive, the DTM92 are probably the most challenging. The F4 is a pussycat untill you push it too hard amd the Scirocco is quite friendly.
I actually found the Merc2013 easy than it used to be, so each to his own

Not my best performance in this series, but still happy to have won the series against strong opposition, particularly Alessandro & Glenn & if Gavino had done more than one race it would assuredly been very different. Got a good start in this race but was too tentative at La Source & Glenn swept around the outside & looked to have the race sewn up in the opening laps. A few laps in Glenn appeared to make a small error at the chicane & over the next couple of laps I caught up. It didn't last though as I spun exiting La Source & Riccardo & Mark swept past as I was resuming. Mark spun at Les Combes a couple of laps later & I copied his error shortly after allowing Matt & Pete past. Car now had engine damage & was 3-4s a lap slower so had little hope of catching Pete & only recovered one place when Matt had a spin. Congrats to Glenn, Riccardo & Pete on the podium & to Glenn & Alessandro on the series podium. Yes Matt these cars did get the new tyre model. It may be my imagination but they seem to have a bit more grip but the tyres wear faster so as Glenn said they become a bit edgy later in the race. Great to have Alessandro & Riccardo join us in this series, do hope they will race again in the next 3 series.
