That was hard racing but cant honestly say it was much fun (JUST MY OPINION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Was tough keeping the pace but frustration crept in and i made 2 or 3 silly mistakes that sent me all the way back to 8th.
Nothing more to say except sry to Minton when i was inside of him and the slightest of touches sent him flying into the barrier as if i rammed him at 300kph! Really dont know why except the collision physics are screwed...sry again.
well seeya next race..and grats to great job podium guys

Well, Qually'ed 19th!!!!! Was not expecting to much from the race, but having fun at the back. 1st lap was ok and stayed with Locutos. Locutos overtook Jan and that aloud me a run into the 2nd corner on Jan. did the move fine (BUT DOWNSHIFTED to 1st.....DOH, I hereby report myself for being an idiot). Rear locked up and I span infront of 6 cars I think. SORRY chaps. Greg130 kindly hit me and straightened me up so got going with not to much loss, except now I was last.
So now I was angry at myself. Then the race just seemed to come to me, 1st got Mark Mc, then Jonzo and Enzo. Had a huge gap then to Jan, but kept at it and after many laps I cought him. He then got Locutos and that also got me past him. Eventully got Jan for P15 and now started to catch Popa in his Vertigo. That car is quick through the corners, but **** in a straight line. Whilst I was chase Popa he was catching Greg130. Then I had a good run out of the 3rd to last corner and was past, next Greg. We pulled away from Popa and started to catch Aagramn, TT and Simon. With 3 laps to go I got greg130 into the 1st corner, thanks for the space Greg and really went for it in the last 2 laps. Last lap I think Aagramn was some 4 secs infront but with bad tires. So it all came down to the last corner. Excellent line out of that and down the inside to take Aagramn by 2 hundred's sec to take 10th.
So in the end I had a good one, coming from Last to 10th(Edit: 12th actually) and some great battles and clean racing with lots of good guys.
Cheers lads, well done to the top 3.
p.s. sorry again for the extra downshift to 1st on the 2nd lap that screwed a few up.

Qualified 16th I think - can't remember such a high number. Followed Popabawa and thinking "How the am I gonna overtake my team leader?! There goes my box of Cinzano!" But he made it easy on me and spun after a double downshift - too bad Popa. Followed Shark but then Locutos closed on me like I was standing still. Had troubles keeping him back for some laps but then he got by. When I followed him uphill he made a bad corner entry which got me alongside him on the exit with a higher speed. We touched by 3 mm and the bad luck was it was his right rear and he spun. Was slowly closing on Shark then and for the last 15 minutes we were close. Better on corner entry, worse on the exit, similar on the straight - that's the story. I had 6 wing, Shark, so I think the exit speed and lower weight made the trick. Good racing anyways. When we closed on Aagramn I was seeing it as a chance but you made it past at the right place with no room left for me. BMW is fast on the straight and my only chance was to be inside for braking. Just made it, thanks to Aagramns fair driving - he could have closed the door but didn't. That got Shark a 2 sec lead - too much to get close in the last 2 laps. Besides, my tyres were out, just dragged my a$$ to the s/f line to be 11th. Quite ok, considering all the in tonights race. TT

Got a very tight pole, was amazed to see that TVR could go that fast When race got underway I noticed that TVR was pretty fast in the first sector but last two it looked like the GTC had a little edge so was able to slowly build up a gap. Had no idea how the car would do over 20 laps plus the lack of motec info. But the medium tires all around combined with less rearwing ,6 or 7 cant recall, it actually did pretty good and never got into heavy understeer this car usually induces so think the tirewear was probably pretty even on both ends. Looked like good close racing all through the field

I qualified 6th well below my PB (even 1s below my Practice 2 time...) but the trouble was just beginning for me. My fiancee was supposed to take care of our 9 month daughter during the race, but for some reason she didn't leaving me with my girl little screaming in her bed. For a minute I hoped she would hear the kid but unfortunately she was too busy talking to my mother in the other part of house (which I found our later). So I had to disconnect on the first speed lap - pissed like hell, as my race was good and considering Brno is a lovely track (hi Ruskus ) would possibly yield me some points. Unfortunately - still no luck in NGT masters. Looking forward GT sprint next week. I'll just have to cuff my fiancee to the kid's bed for the race long Grats to all the drivers who finished, with special attention to the 3 lucky ones on the box Sorry 28CD team for my terrible performance.

After getting 3rd in qual (not much chance of any better) I realised very quickly after starting the race that I'd not saved the changes to my race setup, which meant the car wanted to understeer on the exit of all the corners. Then I made things worse by holding on to 3rd into the bottom chicane on lap 1 and then changing down 2 gears - the car slewed sideways and 2 places went down the drain. 'Bother' I said to myself (or words to that effect). Then had quite a few laps chasing Radius, who gradually got more and more ragged, although the understeer in my setup made it hard to exploit. In the end he took too much curb at T1 and I was past, but by this time Martin was 5 seconds up the road. The next 5 laps or so I was able to peg the gap and gain a big cushion to the car behind, but just as I was praying for Martin's tyres to give up the gap started to come down. My med/med setup with built in understeer now worked for me as I could still do 2.01s, and there was a small chance I could get the place back. I finally got right behind on the last lap, with Jon just ahead too, and out of the last corner got a good run, but the line came too soon. Great racing from everyone again and congrats to CJ for an emphatic win.

Was a good race untill i made a stupid mistake and turned in too early as Radius was overtaking me.. Totally my fault mate you were already through , your right though i did bounce off you as if you had t-boned me at a 150 mph, went back to pits for repairs and came out last then lost it and hit the barrier and lost my front splitter so called it a night. Great pace by the podium finishers.. Grats!

Thanks Picnic. Had a decent race, shame I got my tyre choice wrong which probably cost me a place or two. Driving standards were very high again. The 3 cars ahead of me were having a good scrap in the first half of the race, which was good to watch and helped me stay in touch with them as they cost each other a bit of time. Think Brno was more enjoyable to drive in GTR1, it feels a bit tame and less involving with the more forgiving tyres. Good mix of cars on the grid, looks like nothing is dominating. Was suprised I had the only M3, do you lot know somethign I don't? Special mention to Popa for setting soem good times in the underpowered Vertigo.

Thanks Aagramn! I don't think I could have wrung much more out of it in the end. I knew I'd struggle a bit at Brno (and probably will at Spa next week too) and considered changing cars for a couple of weeks but decided against it in the end as the sprints are proving a decent warm-up for the Endurance races. I'm really loving that bit of the scheduling Dave! [EDIT] Sorry Aagramn, I never get your name right

Thanks; that's exactly why I did it, I just hope I learned enough this race to have a proper bash at defending my improbable early championship lead in Endurance. Unfortunately after Grotmas it flips round again with Endurance leading the Sprints.
