Practice: 20:00 (30 mins)
Qual: 20:30 (15 mins)
Races: 20:45 (20mins + 15mins)

Cars allowed: CUPRA LEON E-RACER

Time of Day Setting: 13:00
Weather: Dry

Start: Standing start
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit-stops: none required

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the relevant Track Packs for this series
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.
(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this. [/quote]

Like Geoff, I am not a fan of these cars, but would have probably turned up had I not been competing
my 106 Rallye at Curborough, and got back just in time to watch the CH4 F1 highlights.

Turned up last night as a test to see if I could figure out why my game is misbehaving. Almost immediately in the 1st race I got the VR pop up menu. I managed to clear it this time without quitting the game but it was convoluted and I couldn't do it while racing, then the game just quit half way through the 2nd race. Timings of events seem quite consistent and I was having a problem using MSFS 2020 in pancake mode where the Reverb would go to sleep and then wake up causing the old USB bing-bong noises. This I cured but maybe in doing so I've messed up the Steam stuff.

Really pain this as it takes about 45 mins of running before it goes wrong  Roll Eyes

Boy are these cars horrible.

2 wins  Grin

VR setup was great, much easier too look directly at the corner exits. The HP reverb 2 has a good resolution, but the small webhud letters, digits are sometimes diffucult to read.

I really hate this track! Never seen such high front tyre temps in this game before, normally the tyres get colder!

In struggling to find a workable setup i loaded my old Brands setup, few tweaks and seemed ok. As i qualified on pole i said to Pete 'this is on middle power setting, this should get you through the race...'

Well I kinda had an inkling i wasnt going to make it, but experience said i would... but i didnt! And at the start of Race 2 i checked and realised it was on the max power mode! Doh!
