For the 2nd round we go to Montjuich Hill near Barcelona.
This track was a street circuit on Montjuich mountain above Barcelona. A twisty tricky circuit, it was the site of the tragic 1975 Spanish Grand Prix. Many drivers felt that the circuit was unsafe, and two time world champion Emerson Fittipaldi withdrew in protest before the start of the race. On lap 26 the Embassy Hill-Lola car of Rolf Stommelen left the track, killing five people. The race was subsequently stopped at half distance and half points awarded, with Jochen Mass being recorded as the winner. Lella Lombardi became the first female driver to score world championship points, taking 0.5 points for 6th place. Formula One never returned to the circuit after the accident.

That is tough luck Enrique  Undecided

I hope that others did not get disco or freeze and that all reached the flag.

I am still very angry with myself  taz taz taz taz  I had the lead and was not pushing hard, but I selected 2nd gear instead of 4th approaching T1 and the car spun, hit the barrier...3 wheels  scared scared
I am still learning to use "H" shifter, but still making too many mistakes  Roll Eyes.

edit. oops!! Phillipe also freeze.

Crash for me at T1 Sad
I was trying to pass Eric for the lead, but thenIlost the rear trying to avoid his car. Luckily I could to the outside rail, otherwise I would also collect him.
Pity for the ones who froze. You had a comfortable lead, Farina.

So far, only 3 drivers surviving: Eric, Fulvio and Claudio

Unlucky Clive. Keep working at it. Hot lapping with H-Shifter is hard enough but when you have other racers to think about your brain finds it hard to cope. Changing gear needs to be a subconcious act which means lots of practice!
