Pete, Philippe, you had another lap to do. The chequered flag came out for Tris who was behind you but had not lapped you. I've been caught out by that myself  Roll Eyes  That's why you are only showing 29 laps and an "unknown" for your retirement. I wanted to check you had both finished and not had a screen freeze on the last lap given that both of you have been having CTD trouble.

New boy error. I thought it was game over but I did think it a bit odd. Never mind.

Now I know why I discoed - the same millisecond with Fulvio...

Look where your pitboard is shown in the track.ini (4725m) so you will see the right laps counter.
Post him 400m after finish line. Pribluda gets info from this position!

So as is, you see the lap counter at end of lap...historical correct... Roll Eyes

First race in these remade GT's so made some notes :

System  - After reading reports of graphic issues for some, reduced detail bias to 70% . Core.ini ansiatrophic to 8 for D3d7.  For OpenGl, mirror draw 2 or 4.  Replay memory unchanged here, but Xp takes little.  With only 2 gigs RAM, and 2gigs of graphic, full race replay saved OK.

Cockpit - reworked the NASA black, diamond studded Lola wheel, to avoid distraction while racing.

Physics - handling properties simplified from original, nearer to the Porsche in nature.  Built as endurance racers, perhaps this is correct.  But no noticable slipstream at Stardust is not correct.  1960's racers made a large hole in the air, and these cars were not small.  Track specific handling needed for good speed within a comfort zone.

Race report - provided a high speed chicane for Phil, until deciding to test the Lola's grass tracking ability beyond turn 1.  Repeated this action later for David to observe, but couldn't find any grass?  It occured to me, how easily Ginetto could modify this track for
Stratos use.  Half track ( not Halftrack ), and half infield using large marker cones, through the desert. Cool

Regained track and position, then endured to the finish.  Pitboard partly obscured - I will slightly lower this to see lap count.  A pitboard fix was needed for this Mod, but it would affect all Mods if changed.  I avoid Pribluda, and rarely disco.  GPL was not made for Pribluda - Pribluda was made for GPL - so buyer beware!

A great race. I had fantastic battles with Enrique, Martin and Pete. It was hard to overtake here, I needed a mistake from the drivers ahead to get past. I returned the compliment later in the race, I hit the polos twice in the twisty T4/T5 section. First time let Enrique through and the second time I nearly got mugged by Martin. A reversal of our battle in Sunday! Very impressed with Pete's driving, you'll be Works material soon!

A big thank you to Enrique for being a gentleman and letting me take my place back after our little shunt. You were quicker than me, it was only a matter of time before you found a way past.

a big thanks to you phill, what a wonderful race got against you, and you say " very difficult overtake here," it's necessary wait the mistake of your rival for do that, and yes, we have a "fool" fist for my fault triying to overtake in curve straight in the back of the track, but was impossible, sorry for that, fortunately we can still running buddy. thanks for the race, for me it's enough got a nice batlle on track, I feel good whit that  Wink
cya next race and I hope can to make races, like yesterday race . thanks a lot.

Phil, the final result is not A priority for me.
