I have to thank Birger for flagging up the 30 laps race length just before the start. Wasn't sure that my setup would last that kind of distance so I went very conservative with engine map (map 3) and other last minute tweaks to just try and make the car as drivable as possible. That probably backfired on me however as although it was very safe, it was also full of understeer and very slow in the middle sector. This got worse as the race went on as the grip was so much biased towards the rear that the rear tyres hardly wore at all, whereas the fronts were wearing fast.
Shame I mis-shifted again early on (similar to last race) and lost touch with the leaders, but Geoff re-appeared in front or behind me several times to keep me entertained
Sorry for holding you up so often Geoff, especially through that middle sector, and sorry for the last corner - didn't realise we touched there, hope that was ok. Another lap (or even just one more corner!) and you would have had me.
Congrats Jos and Toni.
