I give up with Raceroom! Not the nicest time there; poor framrate around a really hilly track, my FOV messed up, a car witch always behaves opposite to what i want, a car that sounds painful to rev.

My framerate was 44fps around the pits and may have got into the 60s, my CPU was sitting around 15-20. I dont run high quality settings as i'm running triple screens, nothing ive tried changing had any impact anyway.

Just did some laps in Spa DTM competition, past the pits -44fps and around 60fps going aroinf tyhe areas with shorter draw distances

Sounds like something is not right. I get a solid 120fps in the pits and all the way round the track ( I assume it's locked to that frame rate)
on a single 3440x1440 monitor. Not tried VR as so far it is making me a bit queasy, and I am being very cautious as it all looks strange.

Well done Geoff, there was no catching you this time out  I Am Not Worthy

Well done also to Frex and John for the podiums.

I made a mistake when chasing Frex, through the fast left in sector 2 I came off the kerb a little sideways and hung my rear right wheel into the gravel on the outside which sent my car spearing across into the tyre stack at the inside of the next left. That took half my engine health but fortunately at Knutstorp there is only one straight to lose out on. I then didn't know how much later I could brake into turn 1 and got it wrong a few laps later ending up in the gravel.

That set up a nice last few laps chasing Pete. My race also wasn't helped by a few accidental double taps of the downshift paddle from 3rd to 1st. I seemed to look after the tyres well and had good pace through the first half of the lap here but really struggled with the second half every lap.

Well done all  clap

I think I must over use the tyres, or the default setup is a bit iffy. I got a good start and for 2 or 3 laps was making a break from the cars behind then I had massive understeer lost all my gains and a place before they returned to 'normal'. Later in the race there was noticeably less grip but I had another period of 2 or 3 laps where the understeer came back before going again. I'm assuming I get the tyres too hot.

Don't really enjoy the track too much that last corner is complex is more Mario Kart than a proper race circuit. Amazing up front pace and great to see Eck back. Hope you can make more of the races.

Wasn't looking forward to this one as I remember the track from GTL days, and always hated it back then.. Actually though the race was quite good fun, defending first from Glenn and later on from John. My Brands setup did not work well at all here however, and my front tyres were overheating badly after the first couple of laps, with high wear rate on the front left. Had no answer for Geoff's pace and consistency, congrats for the win and John for P3. Bad luck Glenn.

My frame rate is 48 FPS, I have a powerful gaming laptop and have a 35 inch Dell monitor! How can I adjust my frame rate please?

Like Frex, never really been a fan of this track & never really done particularly well on it in GTL. The Scirocco though seemed to suit the track quite well, better in fact than the NSU we raced here last year.

Not sure why I was so much quicker than everyone else, used basically the same setup I used at Brands. Looking at the split times in qually it was the middle split where I was quicker (at least 0.4s) than the rest, nothing in it in the other two sections.

Race was pretty uneventful, led from pole & gradually pulled away from Frex & co. Only fright was when the fuel readout said 0 on the last lap  Shocked, was expecting it to cough & die but the car still ran OK to the finish line.

Grats to Frex & John on the podium.  clap clap

Mixed feelings with yesterday's race. I have still a lot to do in refining R3E setups and overall options to improve my control over the Scirocco but I managed quite an improvement yesterday at Knutstorp.

Video of the race: https://youtu.be/M_GAVseG7Ks

I was positively surprised with the result (P3) at qualy and a good time in the low 7s.
The start of the race wasn't great but managed to keep P3 despite pressure from behind. I lost a couple of seconds with the two in front but I felt that I had more to extract from the car in the remaining of the race and had the expectation to possibly becoming a challenge during the second part of the race...

All went down the drain after my stupid mistake in T1... Lost 6 or 7 positions and had a long queue of cars to overtake after that. It kept the race interesting although in a different way. Rather than holding the position from the attacks behind or attempting to catch up with the two in front, I had a terrific fight with (Azaris?) for P8 and then two good battles for P7 and P6... Couldn't do more.

That was fun even if bitter as I thought I could have managed to keep P3 (at least)... Next time.

Congrats to the podiums and see you in the next race.

I did my default real life "lots of lock and pull the nose round with some throttle"
But it seemed I was just heating up the tyres, and I couldn't turn in like others
I need to change my approach to these cars I think.

Good first 5 laps, afterwards losing the concentration. And at the end needed to do some fuel saving, with running out of fuel at finish straight
