Fine by me.

But that's still only 3/4 of us from here and we don't run nKPro for that few.  Wink

The Nippon they use, is that the good version we had a fun race at (China or something) or is it the newest Nippon mod with the awefull sounds?

It's the newer 1.2 mod, but I have a sound fix for it here. Not sure if that meets your requirements though  Tongue

Here? Where? Grin. The mod was fine, the sounds were just awefull. Like they recorded it from some discman headphones.

No idea where I found the sound patch, I assumed from rfactorcentral but I can't see anything there.

Thus use at your own risk etc. etc. I've uploaded the file I have, all 4K of it, to here

Thanks. The version they are gonna use is the best one IMO. The one we had the funrace with, so with the nice sounds.

I couldn't join the last SRou fun race with the Nippons because I had the sound patch installed. At least I think that's why.

Eh? The 2006 Nippon mod is the one with bad sound and was released after the original Nippon mod.
The 1.2 is the good one.

Now I'm all confused! I hate rFactor for this kind of nonsense.

So am I, not only are there too many versions but the lack of readme files etc really does not help. There wasn't one with the sound fix I have, but I have them in the same download dir on my HD so assume they are related  Undecided

Right, I've grabbed the Nippon Racing 1.2 mod and installed it verbatim.

I see there's a conversion of the Toca Race Driver 3 version of Castle Combe now available, complete with chicanes which now seem about right (ie. tighter than some unspecified part of a gnat's anatomy). Might make an interesting combination...

Probably just setup but I can't get the tyres to heat up properly - stuck at about 80 unless I spin. Huh

The circuit feels 'right' in terms of proportion and layout but too narrow, and even with steering lock of 30 I can't get through the barriers in the chicane overshoot areas without reversing up a bit. Shocked
