With a bit more tweaking of the setup I'm down to 1:10.064. These cars feel very odd to me though; not much feel and there's something vaguely artificial about how the car slides. Will be interesting to see what they're like when actually racing each other.

Yeah they do feel abit vague Dave,    the only way i can get the car to stick is to have 25 wing front back.  Left side tyres get very hot aswelll so ive been running with abit more pressure in them.
I find the brakes extremely sharp aswell ,way to easy to lock the wheels... im running the smallest size discs with the brake pressure on 50!! and the brake rate in the controls setup on 10!!!!

Because I wanted us to run a circuit we hadn't done before, and with the expected small field a shorter track should provide more interesting racing than the GP layout, which can get a bit boring if you're not in close contact with another car.
