My problem Woodcote was not with the wheel, I have the G29 but with the sharp chicane! The National track is much closer to the track we always used in GTL and in my view a nicer track to drive on.

I only occasionally change the steering settings. Like the nasty hairpin at Macao.
I think I mostly run with 400deg, and 17.

Sorry when I tried to login my laptop got a warning ran a check and supposed to restart but has locked up! Ctrl/alt/delete makes no difference and switching off the power doesn’t work so have to wait until the battery runs down and then power up off the mains and hope it restarts correctly. Fingers crossed!!!!!

Woehoe, first race win in league racing  w00t after almost 1 year of simracing.

Still a sunday race, with not that much of competitors, but still Smiley

Race 1, good start after 2 laps in the first group with Geoff and Spanner, but after 10min lost the draft of the two.

Race 2, again good start and had the luck Geoff and Spanner couldn't directly follow me, first 2 laps had a gap of 8sec. And managed the gap to the finish Smiley

Congrats to all

Hold the power button in for at least 5 seconds and it will force a power down. No need to wait for the battery to discharge.

Congrats Birger on your first win, many more to come I reckon.  thumbup2

Two quite fun races despite the low turn out.

First one was a battle between going fast enough to stay ahead of Mark whilst trying to save enough power to make it to the finish. In the end I saved too much power & was able to turn the power map up to 4 for the last lap & a half & still have over 1% left when I crossed the line.

Race 2 I got caught out early on when Matt & Mark created a lot of smoke at T6 & with my view obscured I had to stand on the brakes to avoid Mark & spun the car. Drove hard for the rest of the race but could only make up one place before the finish.

Congrats to Mark on two 2nd places.  clap

I really don't know why the game is penalising me on every start  Huh I make sure i'm in S, the lights go out, I press the pedal and nothing happens for what feels like 2secs as you all drive past!

I then notice i'm getting some beeping sounds a couple of corners later.. all strange.

My brands setup worked well here once moving the brake bias forward a bit. But when i turn up the power for qually i really struggle in the car, took forever to get a timed lap, think it might be the increased regen it gives.

I seem to make all my time up on you guys in the braking couldn't believe i closed up. Tried following Geoff closely but just got caught out by our different approaches in corner a few times and at the end realized i was saving too much energy ( this was another race it was going to be tight) and couldnt close the gap as i assumed he had wound it up a bit! Well done Geoff.

I thought i was having a good battle with Matt side by side for a few corners but then i guess he assumed i had fallen behind? I guess i was thrown by the silence of no engine, thinking i had stalled or something, i could have drven off sooner but Matt quitting threw me a bit. Tried chasing Biri down but had no answer to his pace.

You need to start in D Mark, then change to S once the car is moving. It confused me too when we had the test race at Most, in S the car doesn't move for a second or so.

I too had the same problem in qualifying, the car did not handle using my qualifying setup from Brands. I used my race setup with the map turned up & that worked better & once I had got used to having to adjust my braking points I eventually got a decent lap in at the very end of qually.

I don't need much to make me quit these races, I really don't like the car. It understeers and locks up the fronts making understeer worse
If I move the bias to the rear it spins into corners with the regen braking, which is worse the more you increase map
You are right Mark, power and regen increase with higher map.
I made a good start "protect against false start was enabled" so I just stick in S with my foot hard down and even though it is delayed
it gets going fairly well.
Wasn't up for aggressive paint swapping last night,  so left

That makes me feel better, I thought it was just my poor driving!  Wink I have problems approaching corners with this car, either brake too soon or brake too late and lock up the brakes and go straight on. Roll Eyes
