Quite like Zolder, but boy do those heavy braking zones and off camber turns play havoc with these old motors under braking  Shocked Makes them quite a handful.  helpsmilie

Disappointingly I'm going to miss the chance to run the Healey at Zolder, one of my favorite combinations, thanks to a work Grotmas do that was supposed to be just a few selected bodies and has turned into a department full of scumbags. Undecided At least somebody else is driving...

Too full of a cold to enjoy racing atm unfortunately. Shame, as Healys at Zolder would be a lot of fun.  Sad

I would if I could ,I'm nights tonight so the race won't finish in time for me to make it into work in time, rats. If however the races were 30 minutes it would be no problem...*cough*any chance Dave?*cough*  Tongue

For a low turnout it was a great race.
I drove the 300SL for the first time and was very satisfied with how precise it felt. Was able to get pole position and was quickly away from the start into quite a lead.
Mid race I was starting to make small mistakes as I lost concentration - driving all alone is not exactly exciting after a long workday. Anyhow I was very slow oonto the lapping of Bill and all of a sudden I was in a proper race with Baracus. We changed positions a few times and in the end I couldnt do anything anymore as my tires and brakes were completly dead. I even managed to do a classic mistake of mine in crashing into Baracus on the braking with the brakes that were dead. Of course I waited for him to rejoin and than followed him in second position.
The 300SL was good for a few laps, but not for a longer run. Even so it was very rewarding to drive it deffensivly and to retake position against an Alpine. Real shame that I didnt wait for the straight to take Baracus - I must get more patient in the future.

Replay and provisional results available.

I thought something had gone funny with Marc, when at the end I had his name selected but it was like his car had frozen. From the exports it looks like the server lost him at the race start. Unless you have an export with all your lap times in Marc, not sure anything I can do cause the server export has no laps for you, just your name with DNF. Maybe Gizmo has ideas?

Had another entertaining race tonight. 10 people, but the first 2/3 of the race was really good fun with battles first with Baracus as he got up to speed in his Alpine, then Mooman and Dan. Real shame more don't turn up cause the standard of driving tonight was excellent again with really close fair battles and thanks to everyone for the fun.

Well done on that win Baracus. Unlikely from your grid spot and in the squished French lemon.
