Was just wondering how many people have or may be getting RACE. Not much activity in here since the release date, so I'm guessing a lot of people were put off by the demo.

Same here. Whilst GTR, GTL, and more recently GTR2 all made me think "Let's go shopping" within minutes of climbing onboard, RACE was another story ....

The demo didn't inspire me and we have had a glut of quality racing sims over the last couple of years. rFactor is beginning to mature with some decent mods and tracks and I'd rather explore those, although Macau was tempting

It should have been a contender and I was SO up for some touring car racing. After the demo though, I've got other things to spend money on, like potatoes, new socks and drain cleaner.

Ill only get it if theres some real drivers on it...otherwise its like the GTL scene atm. I did see it in the store the other day and was contemplating it but i bought FM07 instead...money well spent

I won't be buying it unless they release a patch that changes the entire gameplay. The handling of the demo was not very enjoyable, the sound was rubbish beyond belief, the controls didn't work properly, the force feedback was screwed. I bought one Alpha game before (NetKar) and regretted that, so not going to buy another one until Racing Legends comes out.

You guys can take it from me too, after playing it a bit morw, it's still pretty awful. Online races turn into a scene out of FlatOut 2 tbh. Admittedly, Macau is quite a fun track, but with the cars awful sound/steering/brakes/speed, it sort of loses the coolness

- Menu's suck. - Sounds are awefull. - Graphics are a bit dull. - Most cars are FW - Default setups are horrible - Racing (alone) is boring (better whatch grass grow) - Online races are Demolition Derbies - Handling is quite okay. - Wipers are fun (dirty window...clean window ) - Headlights don't work I'm forgetting things, but I'm sure there will be more things

This game is so bad, that I actually laugh when playing it sometimes, it's shockingly bad.
If you wan't some comedy entertainment one evening it's well worth a try...
