I won't be buying it unless they release a patch that changes the entire gameplay.  Undecided

The handling of the demo was not very enjoyable, the sound was rubbish beyond belief, the controls didn't work properly, the force feedback was screwed. I bought one Alpha game before (NetKar) and regretted that, so not going to buy another one until Racing Legends comes out.  Wink

had it for a while now, played it for a couple of days and lost interest. I only like playing online and as there are no clean league races at the moment I'm not interested.

Are you all talking about the demo?
If you are, the game its miles away from demo( Smiley)
And the phisycs are no doubt better than other sim game.
BTW, with 3 patch out now, race is even better.
Online races with fair and clean races with p/w.server:http://team-evo.co.uk/forums/

PC Gamer gave it a fairly decent review (80%) and the guy that does the sim reviews is usually pretty good.

Must be a different game to the one I've played then, cause the full game was no different to the demo for me.

Yes the force feedback actually worked in the full thing, but the actual core driving model is no different from what I could tell of the feel. yes you get tracks and cars and AI, but that's nothing if the driving feel doesn't feel right.

Guess it depends on whether the feel is right for you or not, it's not for me and I won't be buying it after having a go on the full thing.

RACE? Dear Lord, can't remember the last time I've uninstalled something so fast.

Took alfa out for a spin. Disgusting, nothing like the real 156 ST I had a pleasure to drive this summer (had to brag, sorry  Grin Tongue ).

Pitty though, I love that alfa 75 turbo from the good old days  Smiley

I got it for Christmas, and i have installed it, but not took it out for a spin uet though, although i quite like the idea of driving one of my favorite touring cars - the BMW e30 M3!

Are there any plans for some league related 'Race' action?

Surley its not that bad - i will give it a good test over the next few days.

Whats the score with this steam thing anyways?
I installed it, and then steam automatically started downloading updates for race - i assume these are the new patches?

It's not likely to happen at SRou but I'm sure leagues will spring up.
