Moderator's Report

Jimmy is closing in on PaulW. When they get to Stavelot there is light contact between the two. PauW starts sliding and hits the barrier on the inside of the track. Jimmy thought PaulW would be able to carry more speed through the corner than he actually did.

I suspect my giddy 2nd place in the standings will be long gone after 80 mins here but I'm really looking forward to this race Cheesy

I'm hoping to make this one (assuming my current lobby problem is fixed), but I shall also be testing a CRX at Cadwell, so it rather depends on how late that finishes and how quickly I can get home! Smiley

I'm guessing given the lack of responces I won't have a problem racing tonight.

I'd be surprised if you don't get a slot, I think previous rounds had free spaces and as time goes by the grids tend to shrink a bit.

Unfortunately my game PC is out of action at the moment so I was hoping to race on my wife's PC. I was running at very low graphics settings and res to get it to run smooth(ish) but for some unknown reason I couldn't stay connected to the server and others were saying my warp was really bad when I did get connected ok. Don't really understand it. It's not he best PC in the world but running that low graphics it was running ok framerates and my internet connection is absolutely a-ok at the moment. Really fast and stable so no idea what's going on there.

Quite dissapointed actually as I like Spa as it's really different to the other tracks and wanted to see how the M3 would fair on a longer circuit, but not to be, which is pretty much my Endurance season so far and defintely the end of any chance of a 4th consecutive Endurance title.

Hope you all had a good race, but I couldn't stay if I was warping that bad.

Dunno whether I'll make Tuesday either. My game PC will be working Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on how fast I can get it rebuilt after work when my new special internal power cable turns up on Tuesday.

Well even a new pb during qual wasn't enough to stop me being hoplessly out classed in GT.  hang

Hope everyone had a good race, I didn't fancy running for 80 minutes on my own.

I thought my antivirus was disabled for the race, but I found out that it wasn't about quarter distance at Stavelot - by the time I had control again I was in the wall  Angry Had various other stutters beforehand and a big loss of steering at Blanchimant losing me a place, so again Spa seemed to cause a few problems. Had a good fight with Jimmie till my AV halted proceedings, but my lack of prep really showed and I never felt on the pace. Hope everyone else had a good one.

Pretty much a great race until 9 minutes remaining  :'(

Had a great race long battle with Bernie Lomax, the pair of us within 1-2 secs for the whole race until about 30 minutes remaining  Cool  Then some annoying GT cars came along and ruined the party  Sad  Bernie got biffed off at Fagnes then half a lap later whilst i was thinking 'poor sod' i got spanked up the jacksy by another GT car whilst flat out at the Blanchimont 6th gear kink  Shocked and slammed hard into the barriers giving me bad aero damage all down the left side  Sad

Was running in 9th overall (2nd NGT?) with about 10 mins remaining, then got 'tyres warn' messages coming through on my pit radio. In my tired state i stupidly stopped and put 40 mins fuel onboard as well as new tyres Roll Eyes...was fuming when i came out with about 8 mins on the clock and had dropped 4 bloody places with such little time left Angry
Totally gutted, my only consolation was i picked up one more place when Paul ran wide at Eau Rouge and i moved up a slot, but feel sick inside  :'( Embarrassed

As predicted, the Vertigo was hopelessly outclassed here. I actually drove pretty well but the little fella just got eaten on the straights.

Not a bad performance to finish 5th, I might have had 4th but for a really stupid mistake that let PRibieo though on the last lap  Hit with a wet fish laugh
