Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 0h01m05s

On lap 1, at the first braking point Albert Hallu rearended Philippe Girard.

Philippe braked very early but he was being careful and Albert was just too close.

Advice for all 55s drivers : The braking in these cars is very bad and it is necessary to leave a safe gap to the car in front. The minimum safe gap is larger in these cars than it is for the other mods. If anyone drives too close and something happens they should expect to get penalised. The slipstream effect in these cars is pretty strong so there is no need to get too close, the next straight will no doubt provide an opportunity to close up. Drivers should study the replay and learn to recognise what a safe distance looks like from the cockpit.

That was an hard race... Disco 5 minutes before qualy ending and fortunately able to reconnect without losing my time. In race i was last just after the first corner touched by someone and at the end of first lap i regained 4 places. I'm very sorry Leo for the contact on first turn, i tried to stay off road to avoid your car. I'm happy to finish third after being touched in a straight while fighting for first position ( dont' know how was possible but it's ok...). Very exciting race with lots of battles and overtakes thanks to  slipstreams, thank you all!

Got off to a great start in the Lancia , then helped by a couple of Mercedes crash fests was surprised to find myself in P3 but soon got devoured by recovering Mercedes which I latched onto for the slipstream .
All the fun came to a glorious end much too soon when I locked the rears up by late braking in an effort to keep the tow .

My race finished with a mouth full of straw ,one spectator was heard to say " I didnt know Wurzel Gummage was racing today "

Grtas to the podium boys and all finishers

I thought covisi would apologize for the spin.
at the beginning of the first lap, i slow down a lot because i'm afraid of a pile-up in front. Covisi follows me very closely, and bingo, I get the spin. my race finish !
I had solved my freeze problem, now, I've had 3 races that I've been out, that's a lot !
bravo covisi for the victory  Grin

Luiz Covisi did nothing wrong. You have been rearended by Albert Hallu on the first lap.
