I have been doing some work with server stats:
1.) As I mentioned in other thread, the driver count per engine class view has now color coding. you can easily see if you are close or already fullfilled your 5 drives per each class. And it seems that MattR and SpecialKS have 5 drivers full in one of the classes.
2.) I added Driver aliases. I noticed that some racers have several lobby accounts and driver names, in which case the system thought them to be individual drivers. Now I have tools for mapping multiple lobby accounts to same real driver.

For example I guessed that MattR21, MattR12 and MattR333 are actually one and the same driver, so now on no matter what account MattR decides to use, the server stats will map the results for the same driver. Smiley

Car pack got an update! Smiley
You can download the patch from here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bhW_HalEjq_KvaWWKiQCLvKYCOa0x4Er/view?usp=sharing
Link to update can be also found from the first post in this thread.

Changes:
- All car pack cars have now identical headlight beam pattern and power.
- The update also ensures that if you have mods that makes the headlights brighter to all cars, it does not work any more on car pack cars. car pack cars use the lights included in package. This will ensure that when driving in dusk, night or dawn, all racers have equal playing field.

Question to everyone in the series:
It has been suggested to shorten the qualifying length for the endurance races. What you think about the idea and what would be your preferred qualifying length? Remember that qualifying length will be changed to ALL endurance races on this season from now on, so it will be the same for Daytona, Monthlery as well as for the Isle of Man.

In my opinion it makes no difference how long qualifying is. Most people who join the server start driving laps straight away & continue doing so for most of the time until the race starts, so whether this is in practice or qualifying mode really makes no difference. Anyone is free to join at any time during practice & qualifying, so people join at a time that suits them. In my case that is usually around 30 mins before the race starts.

I think that the Q sessions should vary in length and be dependent on how many laps could be completed in the time allowed. I would expect to complete fewer laps at IoM than at Daytona due to the difference in lap length's. I can see no good reason for the stipulation that all Q sessions have to be the same length (time).

@ Geoffers, with these longer length races comes earlier race start times, especially if we have longer Q sessions too. I sometimes struggle to make it online in time due to my golf in the afternoon's and it's more difficult for me if the race start times get earlier. Note that for Daytona, the Q session is due to start one hour earlier than a typical Q session in UKGTL.

I'm dispassionate in this question as I usually start from the back of the field.  Grin

I'm biased, being as I sometimes use quali as my practise session, therefore the longer the better  Grin

If it presents difficulties for guys to attend then that's certainly something to bear in mind.
