I've lowered the drivers viewpoint, to make the mirrors fully visible, so that a strange FOV is not needed for this.  It's a 39kb file for the brabham folder.

It's a safety item, so hope some disc space can be provided, for our racers to download from. Cool

Questions answered here  -  I'll edit this post if download becomes available.

I just disable the letterbox mode for cars like the Maserati where you can only see half the mirror.

I don't use a widescreen, so unsure the extent of the lower screen mirror loss.  Vanwall is worst.  Hope all non-4x3 users use no letterbox.  I'm not a fan of strange FOV use.

IMO no need for VM 16:9

FOV 78 and 62 just moved head down with shift + arrow

It is possible to bend the view in ways we cannot in the real World.  I fixed the Vanwall view for use without GplShift.

It is reported there is a virtual mirror set.  Hoping to see the Web address, for those who need it. Cool

Afair there was no VM made by the mod team, as nobody had a problem.

If you don't like GPLShift, just use Lee's "Head Movement Manager" in wich you can set your individual  POV and see all 55s mirrors.

For the SCx mod Ginetto made VM and put them in the car folders of cars that could need them - e.g. Alfa

I made it because a driver complained after a crash.  Huh

Not all want to change their World when only mirrors are needed, or to use an extra programe before every race.  No need with this, but no voices will mean no interest.

For Widescreen users, I also made this distortion killer :  http://srmz.net/index.php?showtopic=12813
